Would you say its a safe tune, won’t break it? What sort of average MPG are you getting?
@@koolerking440 averaging about 37mpg, was 34mpg before the remap.
@@1999tomiodude do the remap affects all of the driving profiles? Like Eco Pro, Comfort and Sport or does it only works on some of them? Ty in advance

I have a 116i, with just a blackbox removal. it has 203,000km on the odo, i bought it at 196,000 for my first car.

Is this that 1.6 THP engine that's known for its unreliability? I've been looking into buying one of these until I saw it's the same unreliable engine as the one in the Mini, DS3, and some Peugeots. Is this one different or is it exactly the same?

Nice video. I got a stage 1 116i but the 1st gear torque/boost limit is still there. Can i get it removed? Cant find any info on it.
I’m wondering whether you ever got this resolved? I’m having the exact same issues on my tuned 114i, here in the Netherlands I haven’t found anyone who is able to fix this.
Random questions. The tune on the first one, is this safe, would it happily go for rally long term ownership? Whats the MPG like? What happens to insurance , do you have to go to specialist insurance companies?
This engine is made of cheese. Timing chain issues and oil burning issues. It's a way better idea to just sell it and get a 1.5L B38 118i
@@BigHumz155have timing problem but it’s a sensor, and no oil issues? it’s 203,000km on the clock.. pretty sturdy engine.

I have an BMW 114i tuned to stage 1, 218hp, but i have just switched to a Do88 performance intercooler. my question is, if i remap my BMW again, can i tune my car to gain even more HP when i changed to a bigger intercooler?
