Bro one question, when you bought the MHD licence you will have it forever? Like you can tune your car with '' stage 1 '' '' stage 2 '' '' burbles '' and so on as many times as you want? Or reflash other cars with your licence ? I want to buy one and I want to use it to my two other friends cars too.
Nope, it's VIN activated so you can only use it on one car. You can use it as much as you want on that car, but it wont work on any other without buying a new licence.
Hi bro, it's been 1 day since I installed stage 1 mhd on my BMW 114i 2014 (N13). And I think I have problems with the mechanical gearbox, when I start from zero it smells burnt and the gears are lost when I'm in one. as if the box was disconnected for a few seconds. Have you had any similar problems after reprogramming? my box is manual 6
@@betounivazo3452 OEM spec clutch is OK, it holds up to 400 Nm as far as I know, so it's more than enough. You will also need to schange the flywheel, it dual mass and if the clutch is bad, it will be bad too. I have 2 videos on how we did it on my car, so vive them a look 😉
Nope, not really, you need to open up the exhaust to get real burbles ( DP + no exhaust: ruclips.net/video/FtNvO_5xfoE/видео.htmlsi=MYyRseaHgU-v2kQo ). But stock N55 makes it burble even better 😁

Hi, f I was doing track days I would have changed it, but since this is a daily and currently used by my wife for her short work commute, there is no point in running it colder.
@@SuperBasshunters I'm well aware of that and long term plan is to do an aftermarket oil cooler, lowering coolant temp won't do much because unfortunately, unlike 118i, this car doesn't even have an oil heat exchanger
@@SuperBasshunters good to know. I will play with options some more and do a few logs once I get the car back, my wife fell in love with it after the remap, so honestly I haven't driven the car since it has been done :D
Hello, I just see in your videos that flashing the stage 2 works without any problems. I can't flash Stage 2 because my engine goes into emergency mode, the error memory only shows a variant error and MHD can't solve the problem, they tried it several times but the error remain, if it's not too much to ask, you would do me a great favor if you could upload/send me your stage 2 .bin file for testing. I'm desperate :( Thanks in advance.
@@nico2507 yeah, I had stage 2 with cat and later with decat downpipe, never had any major faults. Few times exhaust vanos fault popped out, it would go away after turning the car off and on, but it did that stock too, so really no problems with map.

It's been totaled in a head on colision after 6 months, converted to N55 xDrive and then blown up, so not that great 😅

Yup, same thing happened to me, you need a new clutch
@@mattwillow7 It must be because of the mileage. Did you buy an original clutch or is there an upgrade that supports more horsepower?

If you put stage 2 with the burble tune on your car and you have stock downpipe. Does it burble, because i dont want to spend 2k€ just for burbles.

@@sc00z85 I don't think it's worth it without supporting mods, if you are not going all out just stick to stage 1 and enjoy your car😉

@@mattwillow7 ok, but you must check oil temperature on high way is very high on stock map ~125-127*C in summer

Sorry, but car is now swapped with N55 engine and while I still have this DME with stage 2, I can't get the file 😶
