I noticed that you demonstrate the tilting passenger mirror when the mirror selector is set to drivers side and the gear selector set to reverse... I couldn't help but notice that you didn't have the 'folding' mirrors switch, I assumed that you needed that to be able to do automation with mirrors etc? I can see the option in Bimmercode, but does bugger all mate... Any suggestions? Cool video btw 😎
My car doesn’t have Bluetooth Audio? (2013 F30 m sport) and the Nav is greyed out, it has the physical Nav button but does nothing. And the I drive just says “starting navigation” but never loads anything. How do you fix that?
if your trying to work Bluetooth audio press media and connect your phone then go right on the dial and then find configure device and then select audio and then ok and then it should work
@@JovanKorica1 thanks man, it's still at my mechanic's garage as it had a minor accident before I bought it but it runs perfectly and previous owner is a BMW enthusiast(vanos solenoids replaced, idrive board fixed, 5W40 oil replaced every 5-6k miles)
Dean I don’t know if your reading your comments but my 14 plate 135i needs sump gasket and valve gasket doing it’s done 56k what price am I looking at and anything else in the process
There is a lot involved in that. And that car must of been badly neglected to need a sump gasket already at 56K. I would say it depends who you took it too, when I do dump gasket whether that be any N series engine I charge £250 labour that’s if they buy the parts. But that can be costly job involved as the subframe has to be dropped and for that all control arms and steering rack has to be removed and if the control arm bolts are seized your best to buy new control arms and whatever else is needed while the subframe is off. If your planning to the dump gasket, I would then recommend doing rod bearings on that engine as they can fail while your there. I would also upgrade and do the sump baffle plates as them engines are prone to oil starvation when hard cornering and thrashing the car on corners so it’s best to install that while the sump is off also. All things you should consider believe me. As for prices from independant garages expect to pay anywhere from £800-1200 labour for that job alone without parts ! And beware from January this year Eurocarparts stopped all there deals due to garages moaning that everyone was getting the same price as garages it was hurting there sales on parts so you no longer can take parts to garages anymore they just buy them for you as that’s how they make money so when you factor in all the money and parts your looking at a good £2200-2600 all in. To do the job remember any garage cons it on the parts I mean control arms are about £200 sump gasket £30 steering fluid £20 sump baffle kit £250 it’s not expensive on parts at all just garages charge a % on top be aware of that

I'm not saying for a minute everyone go and buy a high milage one, because you obviously do all the work yourself, therefore no labour costs to worry about
Thats correct , They are very very reliable thats exactly why I purchased this car and the N55 Engine in the M135I and NOT the E90. this car was on 115k when I bought it I have done the majority of the mileage now, But its very solid and everything has been done already. and I do not regret for a second my purchase.

It’s not in 3rd 5th limp mode it just stays in on drive won’t switch to sport or manual. In drive drives normal however I can notice reduced power all gears change smooth goes reverse all that I just can’t see what gear I’m in due to the flashing and no more sport mode however it’s feels healthy no slippage no slamming etc. I changed the ivm module recently to counter the PRND error it started out with and no CRANK issue tried too program on on Ista p about 4 times over the past month however every time I start to make some actually proper traction and progress with program it’s always ends with packing up the laptop because of dead battery or ( need a voltage stabiliser I know ) I’m willing to go get it done by a mechanic but I’m so used to servicing my car etc and programming it myself it’s driving me nuts that I can’t find a solution driving me absolutely mad lad that I can’t figure this problem out Issues below explained. Basically the kombi egs and the dme are not communicating and not showing on shitty obd2 scanner apps anymore (android). The only way I’m able to see it program or to even see those modules going forward lately it is via ista p and unfortunately and inpa for just diagnostics. The revs on kombi jump up and down even tho my idle is butter smooth the speedometer stays at 0 when driving idle is clean kombi has lost its marbles navigation and all original modules screen all that still original haven’t retrofitted anything as the Idrive is 2008 and has been relatable haven’t fucked around with any computer modules except angel lights. I have recently purchased ivm module and fitted myself. recently changed the alternator small gasket bracket (the mother fucker gasket) Have changed battery needed to update it a month ago it’s been registered brand new ibs cable . I’m willing to go to a mechanic or dealer I’m booked in at bmw after finally deciding to give up on fixing it myself it’ sucks because I know it’s a programming issue or sensor or something so simple. Mate I’m happy to shoot you a email and actually pay as a customer and maybe do a Skype session just for some solid advice while I show you I’m located in Australia just let me know if you want me to shoot you email and I’m happy to call at a time that suits you due to time zone if your not busy and I’ll be happy to pay for the service advice upfront as time is money. I much prefer F series now 😬 this was the worst thing I did going F series, As now there is no going back for me 😩 I mean I’m changing my E53 for a F11 and my E60 M5 for a F10 M5, I’m going full F series now. Honestly I don’t regret F series at all much much much better car all round, and it’s what BMW should have done back then with E series. Everyone did tell me don’t buy a F series even all you E series guys and now I know why. Sorry bro that is the end for me and E series, it will only be now F and G series hopefully soon.

You will be very surprised about that, not many know how to even get into functions on the NBT let alone half the tricks the car can do. Also it all varies on what you have coded. F series is complete different to E series

Your car does not have enhanced bluetooth.
In most cases you can actually just get bluetooth activated through some coding.. had it done with a 63' 4series

yeah his doesn't have power fold mirrors so none of those features would work
