    Just fixed mine, thanks! Metal lever inside was actually melted stuck on the plastic pin the spring mounts on so just replaced with new part. Now going to drive and see if cruise starts working.

    Thanks for your video. This fixed my problem, which turned out to be simple carbon buildup on contact points as you described!

      Not rude at all brother…it was meant for that late night fix with no parts house open. Most people have common sense, but thanks for pointing that out.
