Hello again. As you can see with the twilight removed, you can see the tire. That means without mud flaps back there all the crap get thrown up on all those wires and connectors. So it’s a great idea to install mud flaps.
Installed these and the Anzo headlights today on my 2016 Canyon. Your video saved me a lot of time. If you like the tail lights you’ll LOVE the headlights! I’m going to try and figure out how to video bright lights and post it.
Hello Matt, great video again, One advise if I can: Take care of the bed liner light wire ! I recommend you to put the wire behind the tail light frame in order to prevent any shafing between the tail light and the wire. Anyway , nice video continue to enjoy us next year !
Hey man!! Thank you ... I did that... I realized that once I was almost done... but I fixed it ... I just didn't put it in the video! but thank you... any help it is always welcome!! :)
Love the new tails. They remind me of the Canyons tails. What are the two black boxes you mounted inside behind the tails? Are they mounted with two faced adhesive tape? Thanks for the shout out. Have a good New Year 2018 and hope you had a great Christmas.
You're welcome man! Yes they are faced with adhesive tape ... you can use some bolts as well... but I didn't want to drill anything in my truck! haha... As far as know those things are necessary in any LED lights.... I will try to figure that out and I will let you know!
Compared to the stock lights, how much more light output is there? How is the light output at a distance? I have used some aftermarket lights before (on different vehicles) and they look great up close....but out at like 150 ft they are barley visible.......I want the truck to look good but also want something that will project the light at a distance so that I don't get hit turning off the highway during the day (75 mph and no turning lane)....I want to be seen well in advance.
Man I really wish these trucks had amber indicators, are there any aftermarket ones that have them? The brake light and the indicator light being exactly the same light (when stock), let alone the same color, seems like such a shitty idea.
Hey Matt, The Colorado lights look great. Looks like you installed them awhile back. Any issues, such as leaks, or other quality concerns? Also, I can’t find the make and model number on your page. Thanks
Hey! These are not good anymore... Im installing new ones soon... stay tuned... they will be so much better... These I had issues with the resistor ....
@@Matty.Garage What was the issue? I was thinking about getting these because I just don't want to spend $250-300 on taillights. Did they let you return them or exchange for new ones?
i want new tail lights for mine but want ones that are predominantly black. ive only found this particular style or ones very similar. i have a 2017 lt. please someone point me in the right direction
Matt Truck.1003 i went ahead and bought black out covers which i didnt really wanna do cuz the cops in nyc will shit on my life for this but it will look tough. i removed all badges and logos. all black everything except the headlights. even did the 3rd brake light
What’s up Matt I’m from jersey too where in jersey you from I just got a Colorado 2018 duramax. Just wanted to ask how the seams fit on these aftermarket lights. Thanks
Hey man!! Thanks for watching!! Im in North Jersey .... they don’t fit “perfect” but not a big deal... at least for me... I didn’t have any problem with it at all... let me know!

Cool 👍 see you next year and happy new year from France 🇫🇷 🥂
The new lights look great Matt.
Looking good bro!
i never had any luck with aftermarket head and tail lights. they always fill with water after the first rainstorm or even wash from the hose
Sorry to hear that man! I didn’t have any problem yet ... if I do I will show it in future videos !!!

Matt Truck.1003 I’ll bet they are resistors for the LED blinkers so you don’t have hyper flashing
This is correct. Those are the resistor packs.

They put the same "amount" of light I would say ... I didn't have any problems until my resistors went bad... but they definitely don't look bad... :)
Thanks Matt..
I appreciate your feedback!
No Problem!
