    This was a lovely practice! The second pose was challenging with my very tight inner thighs, but focusing on my breathing helped me stay with it and brought a nice release. Thank you!

    Loved the intensity of these stretches. Although flexible, my legs have always been super tight. I think these stretches were excellent, and I'll try to incorporate them more often. Thanks for all you do for us Joelle!

    6mos post left hip replacement and able to do these poses for much shorter period of time. Looking forward to the time when I can do entire time! Thank you!

    before I did this I couldn’t sit in butterfly position at all I was in so much pain, now I can sit perfectly and I feel so much better!. Definitely joining the yin yoga challenge. Thank you so much ❤

    This was a great video. I had a rupture in my left adductor muscles years ago and cause a lot discomfort in left part of my body. The movements helped an immediate release in my left should and neck pain. Thank you very much ❤❤

    Am i supposed to feel discomfort at the half saddle half dragonfly stretch?

      Yin yoga is about what is sometimes called "comfortable discomfort," meaning we should be feeling a decent stretch, but it should never be to the point of pain. If you imagine a scale from 1 to 10, we generally want to be around a 3 or a 4 in sensation.

    Only had trouble with the second pose on one side. Weirdly the opposite side to what I was expecting. Something's tight.

      @@YogawithJoelle Been a while since did this one. 2nd pose is still a bit of an issue.
      1st pose - I can touch my heel to my butt cheek without any trouble on one side and only need a slight pull on the other. Is that normal?

      @@katrinamcdonnell8913 Great job coming back to this one! Our bodies are definitely not perfectly symmetrical (yoga helps us notice these things, so great observation!), so it's indeed pretty normal for one side to be more open than the other :)
