      I did this twice in classical by accident and won both games. Both times my opponents looked annoyed and rushed through their opening and I just got a winning position early.

      One thing I've learned from these high level chess players is it's actually better endgame to be aggressive with the king and keep him hugging your pieces. On back row alone he's dead.

    I think that the reason Magnus spent so much time in the first move, is not being late, but seeing a mate in 347 moves unless he plays symmetrically.

    Magnus converting a losing position into a win is crazy. That king rook maneuver is beautiful, really hard idea to find for the average chess player. Dude really is the greatest endgame player in history and personally, the GOAT for me.

    The way the king tiered and staggered its position to defend those pawns was absolutely sensational - if stockfish did that I'd frown disapprovingly at the dominant superiority of the top bot but Magnus, apparently a human man, did it. In 3 f-ing minutes... No wait 2 and a half. Fuck.

    This was more of Hikaru losing than Magnus winning. Hikaru clearly kept giving Magnus a little more of an edge.
