One of the coolest things about learning about guns is how timeless the knowledge is. The guys who came up with this did so in like 1840 and here we are in 2018 learning about it on RUclips. Those guys couldn't even have imagined that.

Holy shiet that was the most hilarious comment iv'e seen in ages!
Lmao
Wkwkwkwk 😂🤣
What's the funny?
Red dead comes out and all of a sudden RUclips recommends something interesting. Smfh.
All of a sudden everyone becomes cowboys and bandits, and soon we'll see neckbeards duel in the streets lmao
Cricis11700 right?
Lol, this video is a year old. Thought RUclips wanted me to look at revolver instead of rifles and polymer hand guns. Guess too much Red Dead could kill the foot.
I've binged so much old Western content on RUclips and the only thing ever recommended to me was a scene from Once Upon a Time in the West, probably only because Id already watched it 100 times. RDR2 released and Im getting stuff like this left right and centre, I ain't complaining
I havent even looked up old guns but since ive been looking up red dead stuff all these old time revolver videos keep showing up
load 5 for the holster, 6 for the gunfight
but i see unlimited bullets fired during gunfights...
in this case you should load infinity -1
i do knives instead,
too lazy loading
Just shape the cylinder like an infinity symbol.
Is that so? Yup that will give you unlimited ammo. The Boss’ gun is really a peace of work.
But the Patriot's magazine isnt Infinity shaped, it's like 2 balls on a seesaw
i always thought it was a joke but wow
Definitely a real danger. Thanks for watching!
i mean people are afraid of guns just going off and people say "They dont just go off"
Oh no it’s very real, people get the misconception that it’s an ol cowboy tale, or a old western myth, and it’s not, the firing pin, well you already watched the video you get my point 😂 I own a few single Action revolvers but all newer, never had the problem myself but I’ve been aware of it for some time
Those people are dumb. It really depends on the gun and the gun type and design and if there are any flaws in it. Heck, you could blow your own brains out just cleaning the damn thing.
@Universal Kombat They can go off with just a tap of the palm actually. It's just that dangerous to load 6 bullets in a 6 shooter. Some would half spin the cylinder and rest the hammer in-between the bullets to avoid a accidental discharge, there are also holsters that provide a thin strap leather that would be placed where the hammer usually rest.
Get a revolver with 7 cambers, then you can load 6! 😋
7's the key number here. Think about it. 7-Elevens. 7 doors. 7, man, that's the number. 7 chipmunks twirlin' on a branch, eatin' lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch. You know that old children's tale from the sea. It's like you're dreamin' about Gorgonzola cheese when it's clearly Brie time, baby. Step into my office.

LOL i just saw 8mile today XD
Cheddar didn't have a single action revolver. He had modern double action revolver (.38 Long Barrel)
He is retarded because that was a modern revolver like he mentioned in this very video that can be safely loaded with 6.
Just watched 8Mile last weekend the first time :D
Actually lmao thats simply because he has his finger on or near the trigger in that scene
I like your use of empty casings with the primers removed. It really shows a dedication to safety you rarely see on many channels
I made those dummy rounds, just for demos like these. Thanks for watching!
I think you're the only person on all of RUclips that actually shows how lightly you'd have to tap the hammer to set the bullet off. Thumbs up.
Kevin Marrett Thanks for watching!
Best answer I ever got for this load was from a friend. He told me "are you gonna be in a shootout any time soon? If not then load 5 that'll take down any threat unless it's an elephant".
Malcolm Reynolds Honestly, we never know when we will find ourselves in a gunfight. We also don’t know how many threats we will face once we leave home. It’s why I always carry my 45 with me everyday along with at least 3 spare loads.
@@ReichenbachEsq If anyone's ever in a situation where they need all six bullets to take down six targets I'd imagine their smartest option would just be to run away

Very intersting way for a safety use of a Frontier,, I own one, 45 LC caliber, and got used to do this way at the shooting range. Still alive and no hurt !
RUclips recommendations teaching me gun-safty, didn't plan on looking for this, but this sure is a useful thing to know
Wish the Peacemakers and other revolvers of the time that used self containing cartilages had a safety similar to the older cap and ball style revolvers, where you can rest the hammer in between the chambers in a groove like with the 1858 New Army Remington, that used a cut out in between the nipples to rest the hammer. The colts used a pin on the cylinder with a cut out in the hammer, however the pin could break, and it wasn't the best method compared to the Remington models. But I do understand due to the cartilage size and such that it would require a bigger cylinder to make enough room for it.

I’m semi automatic kinda guy but I’m considering getting a revolver does this trick need to be done with a newer double action revolver
No, those typically have either a hammer block or transfer bar, so you can load all six without this risk. Thanks for watching!
Even some newer design single action revolvers (Ruger for sure) can safely load six because they have a transfer bar.
