    Talking about my supercharging experience with the Jackson Racing C38 Supercharger kit as I go for a drive.
    Filmed on the GoPro11 - Got it two days after launch. I really like the quality of the video and audio! You'll hear some enhanced audio of the car in this video.
    If you like this type of content, be sure to let me know and I'll do more POV!

    She floats!
    When you are opening up the car a little (you know, giving it some hell) approx how fast are you getting up to in 2nd gear.

      Unless he's changed the gears or the final drive ratio it should be the same as stock which I believe for the zenki models is ≈60mph

    Hi Joe, just out of curiosity what are your gopro settings when you record from this position?

    • @joegranitto

      I had just gotten it that day so I think I used the standard super view lens at 4K resolution at 60fps (their highest quality shooting option in settings). I got a creator kit which included the hat clip, which is what I used to get the POV shot.

    I realized that I move a lot slower than any regular family sedan in stop and go traffic. Guess your body just doesn't want to beat on the clutch or the fuel economy.

      Slipping the clutch at low speeds to inch up is fine imo, doesn't wear it much. I'll usually give it a tap to get up to like 3mph and then coast until I need to brake or the car in front moves up. Bonus if we're on a downward slope lol

    do you know what tools to buy to do the spark plugs?? i need to do mine soon 2016 FRS

    • @joegranitto
      @joegranitto  Год назад +1

      Socket, elbow extension and a lot of patience. FTSpeed has a tutorial on their page that I followed.

      You need a deep 14mm socket, a 3" extension and a socket handle. For the extension, grind out the ball which grips the socket -- makes it much easier to get it in and out of place. Also a 10mm to undo the coil packs. I suggest that when you put back the coil packs, you change the bolt for something with a better head on it: the stock ones are such that sockets kind of slip off them - really annoying. You also need a bendy magnet to get the socket and the plug out of the engine once you've undone it.

    Did the kit give you the sound of turbo? Barely i can heard it

    • @joegranitto
      @joegranitto  Год назад +3

      No sounds of turbo. It sounds more like a jet engine. It's much more pronounced at higher RPMs.
