    I don't think I've ever commented this but I really, really like the way you guys produce videos with switching off duties on the camera and behind the camera.

    I own an FRS. Most people love it (look and sound etc.), some don't. But the funniest comment I get is "There's that weedwhacker" lmao. I ain't even mad. Love the car.

    Just put the high boost pulley on my BRZ tS with my new built motor, planning to dyno it once the motor is broken in. Hopefully makes a world of difference

    You guys are really pushing the limits on that stock FA20... They are usually not too happy for long above 8 psi or so, especially on a track set-up. Street wise you can probably get by for longer before she throws a rod. Then its time to build a new one with upgraded heads and a C38 blower that can rev up to 9k rpm! =^-^=

      I’ve had the c38 kit on my BRZ for 30k -> 15k was on high boost pulley with track use. No issues related to power. Just do it right and car is happy around 300whp

    7 nm is 61 inch lbs - 144 inch lbs is 16 nm so I hope that bolt needed 16 nm and not 7nm. Why wasn't the correct torque setting stated in the instructions I wonder...

      @@chazmuska I got bored of the car and decided to get a 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Offroad manual trans. I'll be putting a lift kit. I don't regret it. Truck is enjoyable enough to drive cos it's a stick shift lol

      @@chazmuska btw, my FR-S had a JRSC c38 with 700cc DW injectors, DW fuel pump, ptuning flex fuel kit, lightweight Aluminium pulleys and full exhaust.

    Wouldn't you need to replace the injector cover on the driver side? This one serves as shared grounding with the DI ECU

    How many mm is the high boost pulley? And what the stock crank pulley is? And is the c-30 at its max impeller speed with the HB pulley?

      Definitely. I know 2 people that had their cars burn to their frames, after doing engine rebuilds, and not installing the injector o-rings properly.

    Guys, I'm trying to prep my FRS for the track but I also daily it so I was wondering if you guys can give me some advice on what to mod. Only performance mod I have on my car is a full exhaust w uel headers.

      Equal Length headers, proper tune, proper maintenance, good tyres and suspension.

    I found out the black plate which bolts to the injection controller acts as a ground too. Couldn’t start the car. Then realised I had to ground it back on. Derp

      Are you referring to the chirping sound? That is actually the high pressure fuel pump. It's commonly referred to as the 'crickets'

      It's fine. As long as you have a good tune. You really don't want to go much more though unless you're running E85.

      Yes. You generally don't need higher than 450 to 700. People often use 1000 for ease of scalability and higher power in built engines.

      To keep the engine going longer before it eventually blows. Not sure how high you can rev on stock oil pump

      It varies. Lots of people blow there stock and you get some guys who get away with high boost and no issues. I have a spare motor for mine since it is an when and not off it will go.

      R. elentless the rotrex blowers can only spin so fast. I have a kraftwerks 8th Gen si, and I if I wanted to increase boost by adding a smaller pulley I need to lower my redline too keep the blower together. There is a rotrex calculator online to see peak blower speeds. Facts.

    Hub dyno. It all makes sense now. You will be pushing 270whp on a dynojet. Pushing anything north of 300whp on pump gas is dangerous with these motors.

      @@freddyflirt15 rods are the weakest part of these engines. Especially with high low end torque. Up higher in the RPMs the rods take boost better. You can generally push towards 350 hp and above depending on fuel quality, and tune or if using say high Ethanol content fuel.

      1-14 = low boost. 15-29 = mild boost. 30+ high boost. To defend his case, its high boost for the sc

    Shame toyota didn't team up with Honda to make this car. A K20 or K24 in one of these factory and I would own one... could make a reliable 400-500whp on a stock engine and not sound like ass.
