Thank you for sharing this information; Im considering the VStrom 250 for daily commute, but I’m 188 cm tall. Will not use it for adventure and trail, just commute. Do you thing it is a good choice?

Just for daily commutes and the mid distance weekend rides, yes, the Vstrom 250 is a good and capable bike...

Was the V Strom not cramped in the legs for you ? The foot pegs seem back behind the rider - not good for the knees

It is cramped. Talked about it. Its a bit too high and rear set for a Adv style bike.
