I am young of 56😂, and I am going to purchase this one , shortly! I have test driven it already. Starting from Yezdi 250 of 1974 make (possession of my father till 1994, I drove it between 1986 and 1994), then going on to RE Bullet (1994-1997 which was terrible experience), to Suzuki Shogun (1997-2006, the bike was "pocket rocket"), to RE Bullet again (2006-2016, fortunately, had better than average experience), to Himalayan 411 (2018-2022, had mixed experience, excellent riding experience but terrible quality issues). Had a break from riding for a few months, but I can't keep myself away from long riding. I was searching for an alrounder bike which is lighter, fairly fuel efficient, can be used for city ride and highway rides both, has good engine and less maintainance! At 56 (however young 😂, I don't want to waste energy in handling heavier vehicle), I need a lighter and alrounder bike which should serve pillion, well. Looking for all those things, Suzuki Vstrom 250 sx fits the bill, the best way! 👍
80-90% of the people don't have time to do adventure touring. They go to office, meet friends, go occasionally on highways for eateries and change. And if required this bike is capable of going to Ladakh as well. Check Falcon riders video if required. Overall this bike provides good comfort for those long hours in traffic, provides super control and braking for emergency situation, just the right power that one can utilise properly (unlike over powered KTM), and does everything so good. Is lighter by 30kgs than Himalayan and much comfortable than Xpulse and much cheaper then KTM too. So this bike is something that sits beautifully as a jack of all trades bike.

I guess this bike is running the stock engine oil from Suzuki (Ecstar 10w40). I can relay the exact experience before but having switch over to Motul 300v (sold in Suzuki svc as optional) made a whole lot difference with regards to engine vibe, smoothness, mileage, gear shift, etc.

Very nice review as always. I will buy this bike if they increase the suspension travel, increase the tank capacity to 15 litres, slightly taller handlebars with a revised peg position for ease of riding when standing up on the pegs, also give switchtable ABS and a stronger light.
I am riding my V Storm for two months. No issues with the gear shiftings . But jerks it gives while engaging road bumps specially the sharper ones are cruel . Those nasty jerks are transmitted through your spines upto your chest. I am yet to come to terms with these annoying surprises. I am toying with the idea of replacing it's rear monoshock unit with that of xpulse 200. I am requesting some experts opinion on this matter . Best thing about this byke is it's balance and stability. Wind Buffeting is very less. I have ridden it through strong winds very comfortably . It's balance is so good you even tend to forget that there's a pillion rider behind you. The footpegs are rear set and that's also a thing of annoyance for me.
Hi James, we wouldn't recommend changing the monoshock as the suspension has been designed given a certain chassis and load. The XPulse suspension will severely affect its handling dynamics.
I’m owning a vstrom since 8 months now. Did 6k kms. I don’t agree with most of the thoughts expressed here; be it regarding engine, gearbox, brakes or anything.

Bro, Your high beam is on the trees and you are talking about light throw. 1:54 And if there is a surrounding light that means there is light na, ye baat he bouncer gya
My only issue is the way the engine sounds at higher RPMs (read - thrashy). And after riding at higher RPMs for sometime, the idle also sounds clattery! So even though the baby strom has performance at higher revvs it sounds as if it’s outside its comfort zone. My VStrom 250 is the E20 version and when I rode a friend’s E10 VStrom that’s run for 16k kms , it didn’t sound thrashy at all. So is it down to the E20 ?
Serious Con - This motorcycle has a defect of pulling left side upon leaving handle bar and service center doesn't help with this. Check before buying!
It's a good bike, brilliant ergos, one of the best seats amongst bikes and offers better efficiency than the rivals, has tubeless tires which offers great peace of mind. However - The refinement is all over the place, being a Suzuki you'd expect it to be better. Quality is a bit suspect. There are rust issues, and a few older 250 owners both tbhp and Xbhp have had their engines seized these are guys that take care of their bikes. Now there are some new vibration issues that crop up after the bike crosses 7k rpm. Suzuki are asking for good money in the name of jap reliability and peace of mind.. but i feel they are just at the levels of Hero / RE when it comes to quality.
I owned a himalyan earlier and now i own a Gixxer 250. The difference in reliability between the two bikes is as clear as night and day. Ofcourse there will always be always a few exceptions where the experience has been bad for some people but when i owned the himalyan i was always taking the bike to the SVC every month for some or the other niggling issues and it was very frustrating. With the Suzuki that i have owned for more than two years now I haven't faced any such issues except regular service.
Engine refinement and NVH is something that Suzuki needs to work on, as mentioned we didn't face any rusting issues. Engine seizing is something serious, hope Suzuki replaced the motor FOC.
I want to purshase Vstorm. But only doubt is the spares availability on time and in future. Can anyone share your expereinces. I understand the service wont be as quick as hero or Bajaj. But, it shouldn't be too bad.
That’s total bullshit review. This is the smoothest 250 engine on the market. At 5-6k rpm it is buttery smooth. Its the most fuel efficient bike in its class. 38kmpl easily. Gear shifts are smooth unlike what they said in video. Although its not an off-road bike but its surely adventure ready. Yes I own one 😊
Hi Shakti, have you ridden the new Pulsar 250? For us, that's the most refined 250cc motor. As for fuel efficiency, it will always differ based on the rider, the route taken and the average speed. And we had mentioned it as a positive.
You cant blame them. It seems like a mixed experience for the 250 platform owners. I have quite a bit of buzz at cruising speeds on my Gixxer 250 at 16k kms.
Nonsense review. U only mentioned the negatives which frankly are not there. I have taken multiple rest rides from various showrooms across the city for some good time. I actually think it much better in many aspects than u would actually think.
dude it's his bike and he's just sharing his experience. why do u have to be so bitter about it? especially when you've only test ridden the vehicle and not owned one, doesn't make sense.
Hellos, we can agree to disagree! Please watch the entire video, there are pros and cons of the product and they have been clearly mentioned. A long term report will always have more depth than a short test ride.
One aspect that made me choose the Hunter over the Suzuki 250s was the engine. I rode it, and had the same gruff feeling that somehow felt will not go away even after many miles. Needed a smooth experience. And the Hunter’s engine, even though it does not have the top end of this 250, feels smooth. Request you to do a long term of the Hunter as well. I own one, have a few good as well as bad opinions, & would like to see how much of it is actually a larger character of the bike. So that I can do something to improve my experience of it.
@@zigwheels Never interested in the Himalayan due to its weight. Scram looked very appealing, but prevalent Qs. regarding engine heating & refinement made me pass over it. The J series engine has been around enough to gather much goodwill, especially for its refinement. Also, alloys+tubeless tyres, better flick-ability, & the gorgeous looks. Interestingly, had the CB350 RS been much more reasonably priced for what it is, I'd have definitely gone with that because that was my original first preference, which I was intent on saving up for & buying. I find it to be a better bike overall, but I saved a lot of fuel money on the Hunter. That said, I find the suspension firm for the city 'spine' breakers, *SHIT* breaking which I don't have confidence in. Unreliable instrument console. The looks, engine & flick-ability are its strong points.
Congratulations Bharath, Can you confirm is it 2023 model or not ? I'm also waiting for the bike and they don't have a clear picture when it will arrive on showroom

without good suspension, why such a seat height is kept is beyond understanding. Its not a bike, its a dhoka. It comes at price comprable with Himalayan, is also a joke.
I don't agree with these attention seekers review the engine is very refined and even at higher revs I think Suzuki not paid them that's why negative marketing 😂😂
You clearly haven't ridden them like they should. It's engine is far more engaging throughout the rpm rather than the ktms where apart from the top end the engine feels like it will fall apart.
When will manufacturers realize that hobbits like myself also exist who fancy adv bikes?😭🥺....even dukes and mt15 are quite tall. I can ride them fine but u know...

@ZigWheels in the first video you felt the bike was vibey at 100 but in this video suddenly you feel this can cruise at 120 all day, also i couldn't find a single point in this video that you didn't cover in the first one, so i assumed that this video was made to sell a bike no one wants to buy .

I would recommend you to see this bike in person, fit and finish, welding, wiring, and tell me a stock bikes using a DID chain and ENKEI wheel rims. You know what? My only issue is the way the engine sounds at higher RPMs (read - thrashy). And after riding at higher RPMs for sometime, the idle also sounds clattery!
So even though the baby strom has performance at higher revvs it sounds as if it’s outside its comfort zone.
My VStrom 250 is the E20 version and when I rode a friend’s E10 VStrom that’s run for 16k kms , it didn’t sound thrashy at all. So is it down to the E20 ?
What's the top box weight capacity
Serious Con - This motorcycle has a defect of pulling left side upon leaving handle bar and service center doesn't help with this. Check before buying!
Suzuki v storm vs ktm adv 390x. For long rides. Mostly highways. Seat height isnt issue.
Its my dream bike coz its oil cooled,Light weight,26ps of horsepower,6th gear but price is slightly higher so out of my budget my height is only 5.5
The type of motorcycle needed should meet your requirements! What do you expect of a bike you would own?
There is a seat height reducer that is offered by the company- go for it
@@MAX-xw8xqlol yeah why should I buy a bike that doesn't fits my requirements ? I am not crazy to go buy something that doesn't suits my propose
If Suzuki improves suspension on this, this will be a tough competitor to Hero and others in touring segment given its tubeless tyres
Is it suitable for 5 feet 4 inch person ?
@@hamzavora622Good to hear. I've had RE and hated them too, i feel Suzuki are getting away with a lot wrt quality here..
I want to purshase Vstorm. But only doubt is the spares availability on time and in future. Can anyone share your expereinces.
I understand the service wont be as quick as hero or Bajaj. But, it shouldn't be too bad.
Is it possible to use the xpulse suspension into this for better off roading?
For offroad, stick to Xpulse only!
Would be great if Suzuki worked on suspension and a few nitbits, this bike would sell even more!
It was an honest review and no unnecessary promotion or nit picking. Well done with the video and the content.
A esta moto cada cuánto es el cambió de aceite?
3.5k to 4k kilometres
Milage before and after - 1,2,3 services?
Also, how much kms for 1,2,3, services?
Is it a good bike for people with or recovering from back injury?
Yes it is very good for people with back issues
Can this do ZANSKAR..from Hyderabad..?
the only good bike for zigwheels is the ones having Royal Enfield logo on it. Seeing this since the comparison of cb350 vs classic 350
Tyre pressure for front and back for city use
2:54 2:58 2:59 2:59 2:59
How this would compare with triump
Suzuki need to revisit this bike....not a prefect/good one to buy....
Then don't buy
@@AR-bm2xg forward this message to all...😜
Agreed. This bike has no flaws but still feels incomplete unexciting and characterless.
@@neoncat3546 yes agree....
I can’t able to connect my iPhone to this bike, please suggest me what to do?
Ask your dealer to change the console. Some consoles has Bluetooth chip issues.
I’m 5.6 height is it comfortable riding
Adhennada peru'ku pinaadi Nadaa'nu?
Road presence is amazing, to know the rest i watched this video..😬😜
Best for touring...
Background music is louder than reviewer voice?
This is the first review on youtube where the reviewer says engine has vibrations.
Suzuki v strom suitable for hills station with pillion and luggage..
RE is the worst with the most issues but still somehow it becomes the best. I dont know how to explain this.
Please do a honda cb300f long term review
Get something with more character, 300f has no soul, if you're a biker you'll know what I mean
Your head lamp is way too high dude, adjust it to the proper direction. There will always a screw behind the lamp to adjust it, read your manuals!
The knuckle guards are fitted upside-down on your motorcycle
Gives me a glimpse of Hypermotard
One aspect that made me choose the Hunter over the Suzuki 250s was the engine. I rode it, and had the same gruff feeling that somehow felt will not go away even after many miles. Needed a smooth experience. And the Hunter’s engine, even though it does not have the top end of this 250, feels smooth. Request you to do a long term of the Hunter as well. I own one, have a few good as well as bad opinions, & would like to see how much of it is actually a larger character of the bike. So that I can do something to improve my experience of it.
feel so sad. for you
That's an interesting perspective Don, but then why didn't you opt for the Himalayan or Scram?
Hunter is smoother than Suzuki?? 🤧
@@MrTransporter5 he is from mars dude....
Every other Auto Journalist say engine is smooth and no vibrations but here the exactly opposite ?
I hv brought a new bike I do feel ths isn't a smooth bike
Sir plz make a video on gs 310 ,,plz
BMW doesn't provide a long term bike, but we will try our best.
Oh nooo.....V strom (all lines) not the hardcore off roader like u said....
Suzuki DR is the hardcore off roader !!!@
This is the first time, i heard someone saying clunky gears.
Machine is good, but service experiences is very bad with Suzuki,Suzuki has to improve its service section a lot,
Regards -A GS 150r owner
Hi Thanveer, what were the issues faced by you? A colleague of ours is a GS 150 owner :)
I'm getting delivery of this bike next week. Hooo😜🥳... I'm just 5.4' and did order a lower seat option 🙃, which is rockhard😬🤦.
Congratulations Bharath, do share your ownership experience with us.
Congratulations Bharath, Can you confirm is it 2023 model or not ? I'm also waiting for the bike and they don't have a clear picture when it will arrive on showroom
@@abdullamohammed8072 it's 2022 model. Updated emmision norms will be in 2023 model, they said will available by end of May...
Dudes ride motorcycles for a living, live in parts of India with reasonably good roads and then come up with "long term" reviews after clocking run-in mileage, have some shame guys.
Gixxer sf250 is a way better deal because of the same engine at a much lower price
The video is very good but the music is irritating.
All negative responses from the channel, I own one and I found the bikes the best in every aspect.
You seems to be paid well to put forward the the bad first.
LED light is worst when rainy season 😢
Suzuki har 3-4 saal me apni bikes k model band kar deti hai. Shoulin, samurai, fiero, hyatey, zeus, heat, slingshot, GS150R, inazuma, intruder. Sab models band ho chukey hain.
First time a silencer reviewing a bike !

without good suspension, why such a seat height is kept is beyond understanding. Its not a bike, its a dhoka. It comes at price comprable with Himalayan, is also a joke.
Same experience with my v strom😂 broo
Please, video ko 15+ minutes bana ki kosis team se karao.....
I don't agree with these attention seekers review the engine is very refined and even at higher revs
I think Suzuki not paid them that's why negative marketing 😂😂
Given the brilliant road conditions of our country 😂
this review is the exact opposite of what people say about this bike and then later the reviewer contradicts himself...very confusing.
The only motorcycle without any major flaw but still who's engine feels souless, even ktm 125s feel more characterfull
You clearly haven't ridden them like they should. It's engine is far more engaging throughout the rpm rather than the ktms where apart from the top end the engine feels like it will fall apart.
I think u ve ridden pulsar 125 instead of V250... 🤣 then Better but KTM 125 ..🤧.🤣
I ride GT650 which is my third bike so yeah I guess you'all are the ones who haven't ridden much miles
WHY? the F***ing music in a motorbike review. Stopped listening soon into it.
Too much negative points it's not good to say about the cons at the beginning you should tell for people's perspective not only from personal views
When will manufacturers realize that hobbits like myself also exist who fancy adv bikes?😭🥺....even dukes and mt15 are quite tall. I can ride them fine but u know...
Hey Navin, being short can be challenging, but once you're in motion most bikes feels the same :)
@@zigwheels Thanks for the motivation

Suzuki ne bribe installment me diya kya ?😂😂
Hey, can you please explain the reasoning behind this statement, Also, we clearly clarify our paid content.
@ZigWheels in the first video you felt the bike was vibey at 100 but in this video suddenly you feel this can cruise at 120 all day, also i couldn't find a single point in this video that you didn't cover in the first one, so i assumed that this video was made to sell a bike no one wants to buy .
If the review was in English would be better
Hello Zigwheel brother, once u dont have guts to speak truth, pls dont spoil this beauty..i own this bike..and i dont agree with u
What did Suzuki think? Put a sticker and fool the Indian customer to buy into a make believe world?
Totally wrong review
Overpriced...hence flopped.
No led indictors, slipper clutch, tft display.
Plus nobody cares about suzuki motorcycles...only access sells😆
Led indicator, slipper clutch, tft display runs the motorcycle... Yes, that's right. I would recommend you to see this bike in person, fit and finish, welding, wiring, and tell me a stock bikes using a DID chain and ENKEI wheel rims. You know what? A better performing Chains and rims are better than a led indicators and tft display.
The VStrom has a waiting period of more than a month in Bangalore. Go see and test ride, the bike to know the quality. Don't be a keyboard judge.
@@surendarmohan9878it's really built very well. All the wires the panels are so well put together. There's no panel squeaking or wired lying around.feels like Suzuki too a lot of effort to get everything as perfect as they could.
