Reliable, Comfortable & if you want a barebones no tech no frill experience then go for it, loving mine, but big problem is the lack of necessary touring accessories from Suzuki, if you are selling Touring Bike then why not touring accessories
I want to address your Cons. I agree with your dissatisfaction with the Instrument Cluster. As far as the Braking is concerned: I HAVE a GSX250R. I personally do not feel the front braking is bad; that being said I do agree that it is DIFFERENT from other bikes I have owned. The two things I noted about the front Brake: 1. Yes, it DOES require more pull from your hand to get it stopped, however, if you are aware of this going in, and you simply pull a bit harder, mine stops just fine. 2. I have not had the chance to look into this, but maybe higher quality aftermarket pads MAY help this. Regarding your complaint about its off-road "Lacking": 1. there are after-market rear shocks that would improve this. 2. You are running with STREET tires, so WHAT DO YOU EXPECT THIS BIKE TO DO OFF-ROAD?! Put some DUAL purpose tires on it, I expect if you make these two mods that the off-road handling will improve dramatically. Lastly, the broken foot Peg. I agree that a company as long lasting as Suzuki TOTALLY Dropped the ball there! If this is not something Suzuki is willing to correct, I would spend the few Bucks, and buy some higher quality foot pegs, BEFORE you take it home from the Dealership! THANK YOU for an excellent review! I bought my 2018 GSX250R Last June. I also think it is the "Perfect" Motorcycle, but I also thing its pros outweighs its cons. I'm waiting with bated breath for that little Vstrom to come to the States. I'm DYING to try one out. If I do like it, I WILL Trade my GSX for the Vstrom!
The only serious problem I feel is left hand side pulling which is still unsolved by company. Many vstrom SX owners across India are facing this problem.

I took test ride today, breaking and front suspensions are major concern, I took ride of Xpulse also now I m confused between xpulse pro and vstrom 250
I own this but for off road riding, this wouldn’t be the best choice. The XPulse would be the one to go for. This will handle off roads if you encounter it while touring or occasional excursions to off roads but it ain’t a core off roader.
I own this bike for a year now and done around 8000 KMs. It has a gem of an engine. The bike looks awesome, feels awesome and rides so so well. A lot of folks underestimated this when it was launched, but boy this is good! Its sad to see that people get attracted towards RE way too much and underplay bikes like these.
I’m eyeballing your question by only understanding the bike names. So, between the two motorcycles, consider what you want to do with the bike. Touring, Technical off roading, Day to Day chores etc. I’ll tell you from my experience on the Vstrom. I do all the above mentioned categories. With my ‘bee-storm’, I’ve been able to develop my skills on off roads or no roads, I’ve toured 2300+ kms, and regularly tour to my office. It rides like a breeze, this motorcycle. Only thing which I’ve realised now, is that I’m a sucker for high speed riding and my bee can only do so much. But what I’ve been able to do, experience and learn is all credited to this bike. So, consider your interests, research, TEST RIDE (at multiple dealerships) and go ahead with your decision. You’ll love it.
After watching this reviews and many others , I finally bought v strom and its the best bike in 250 cc segment, best build quality, the engine , the ergonomics everything is well researched and applied. The suspension has to be stiffer because you cant get good control with too soft suspension , we cant get both, i easily cruised at 110-115 sometimes even 125 and bike was super smooth and infact dint face any heating issues , i had a question, what engine oil do you use ? I added ecstar semi synthetic one in first service, which one should i go next to make it more smooth, should i go for motul 3v or 7100 or ecstar, i have some vibrations on footrace on 2nd - 3rd gear but it goes away on higher gears
I’m Looking to buy this bike but I have a confusion either to go with x pulse or this and main purpose is for commute. I like the suspension and comfort of xpulse and I didn’t get much chance to test drive v storm on bad roads but as per your reviews and Suzuki reliability I want to go with v storm. The price is what makes me so hard to make decision now. V storm costs 80k more than Xpulse in Bangalore. Currently I get only free insurance offer on V storm. On top of this some are asking me to wait for Harley or triumph but I don’t want to go for more than 250cc keeping in mind about mileage.
Same here in Guwahati. The dealers are offering insurance discount but still I want this bike only. I have test ridden this bike more than 6 times already and this bike is like a dream. Will be Very good for touring and city commutes. Best of both worlds.
Awesome review ❤❤. Help me out with this One query - My friend's V Strom is almost 30k kms and he wants to change both the tyres. Please give suggestions a lighter and better set of Front and Back tyres for V Strom 250
I am curious as to what the riders weight is with and without gear. I am the same height and looking at getting this bike but a little concerned as i am 103kg.

Good bike completed 14k kilometres very very good for touring can ride continuously for 200km
Thank you for the video. I’m planing to buy this bike to practice off-road. Do you advise me?
I own this but for off road riding, this wouldn’t be the best choice. The XPulse would be the one to go for. This will handle off roads if you encounter it while touring or occasional excursions to off roads but it ain’t a core off roader.
What is the XPulse?

Very nice bike especially for a long ride
Nice review. What engine oil have you use?
Not sure. Difficulty to get this detail from Suzuki at the time of year
What’s about the after sale service and how to hazard lights?
yes missing the hazard lights, SUZUKI should had installed it !
Which one is good machine Bro xpulse 200 4v or vstrom 250...(This is my first bike)
Hello What is your height and weight?
Comparing this with honda cb200x which one is better?
Oh, the Suzuki, definitely
I own this bike for a year now and done around 8000 KMs. It has a gem of an engine. The bike looks awesome, feels awesome and rides so so well. A lot of folks underestimated this when it was launched, but boy this is good! Its sad to see that people get attracted towards RE way too much and underplay bikes like these.
But no resale and hight price tag
Not VFM I guess
If only it had a VFM price tag. Would’ve done wonders.
Good things come at a cost 😊
@@ameyaw9507 but not this
Bro xpulse 200 4v or vstrom 250 endha bike nalla irukkum...(This is my first bike)
What is the cruising Speed?
110 on the odo is comfortable. Requires little push to reach 130.
@@Mimolimotimo thank u so much. What will be the service interval and oil viscosity?
The recommended Oil is the Ecstar 10W40
Suzuki be it Two or Four wheelers will rock when coming to engines🤩
Hi Akash, first of all congratulations 🎉 I am also thinking to buy this , when is the first service due? Can we take new bike for long rides?
@@bharatchander7619 yes you can , i did 250 km ride and it was not tiring , in-fact you can ride all day and cover more than 500-700 kms easily
Bought yesterday 😊😊😊 let me know what are the modifications you are planning to do, TIA
Get the best your money can buy. Thats the most important thing in this engine right? Great oil
Bro how much it cost on road and in which city?
Same problem, finally i have decided to for vstrom
Those gloves looks great, can anyone share the details of it
I think you need to buy one. I want too but I'm still not in the position financially to purchase one
What are the service intervals for this bike?
Damn only oil cooled, no upside fork & spoke tyres?
Please give ur views on CB 300F against V Strom 250 also am confused.
Awesome review ❤❤.
Help me out with this One query - My friend's V Strom is almost 30k kms and he wants to change both the tyres. Please give suggestions a lighter and better set of Front and Back tyres for V Strom 250
Xpulse pro vs v storm
Any opinion?
Off-road usage - Xpulse
Touring - VStrom
Performance - VStrom
Refinement - VStrom
isnt that the place you showed at the begining is maravanthe beach??
TVS RTR 310 is giving so many features at the same price point
With all the features RTR comes around 3.8 lakhs
Can we change suspension setup ?
Depends on if aftermarket parts are available for the bike.
It's Marvanthe beach ❤
Love from Mandya karnataka 🔥
That’s correct. Thank you ❤️
My height is 6ft4. Should I consider this bike?
Which helmet is this?
I am curious as to what the riders weight is with and without gear. I am the same height and looking at getting this bike but a little concerned as i am 103kg.
If you weigh 110 including the riding gears only, I think you can achieve good highway speeds around 100-110 kmph. No need to worry.
Does wind hits your helmet?
Which one do you recommend among Honda CB 350 highness vs Suzuki V storm SX
Actually both are great.. still vstrom os very pocket friendly and has better quality
What about the Gixxer 250 naked? Is it good as a city bike?
Definitely
Does it lack in power??.
Does it make it feel you excited while revving?
