Clocked 4k km on my vstrom. I'm getting 39-41 KMPL in highway. I maintain 70-85 km/hr. In city traffic you can easily get 35-38 KMPL. Best bike for this price, they could have improved the instruments cluster and headlight throw, apart from this I dont have any complaints.
City 35-38😮 I'm getting 31-32 only city mileage, BTW which city??
Bangalore
Correct. At least upcoming year they should improve these things.
I add some here. Mainly longer suspension front n rear not possible if they provide rear also longer it increase height.. so rear I expect Xpulse like suspension..at rear.. n secondly Fresh headlight n tail light design we don't want gixxer flavour... 3rd New Tft ktm like instrument is mandatory because itsc250.machine people ready to pay extra . 4th braking shoul be improve like KTM THEN I READYBTO BUT ON EMI ON 2025
I agree. Also I find the exhaust note to be somewhat underwhelming. Also i really wished they made a matte finish instead of glossy everywhere
1) Which oil do you use?
2) Left side pulling issues?
3) Engine heating?
4) How often you change air filter and brake pads?
1. Motul
2. Yes it is there, but can be reduced by maintaining proper pressure.
3. In heavy traffic it is there but bearable.
4. Air filter every service, brk pads in 10K +
@@RoamwithSombhai footpegs kuch jada hi high set hy kya ? Matlab legs dard dene lgega after 1hr or so of riding? Ht. 5-11
No bro i am 5.6 i don’t have any such issues. As you are taller there may be such things but check once properly while doing test ride.
My vistrom review,
30000 KM
7th month running
Brake pad average 10-12K kms.
Chain sproket - 20k kms
Mileage - Avg 40 Kms
Speed - 85 - 90 kms / hr
But No accessories no alteration.
Super bro. Great job. How about your tyres bro. Is it still the stock or you replaced??
I have clocked around 27000kms in 1 year and 1 month. Feel free to ask your queries.
Great bro, how is your experience so far.
@RoamwithSom great bro.. im overall satisfied with my bike, escpecially when i cruise in highways the engine is a perfect example of refinement. Its 90% highway tourer and 10% practically good on uneven roads. Upright position is perfect for long touring and you dont feel fatigue. I have achieved 45 kmpl on highways with an average speed of 85- 90 kmph.in cities i often get 36kmpl. So far completed 5 services. Average cost is around 2500 apart from when i had changed chain and sprocket at 14500kms which cost me around rs6000. Pls go through the manual povided in that there is a dedicated page clarifying service replcements and inspection. Happy motoring bro 😊✌🏻
Nice long-term review, buddy. Please note that the speedo has a 10% error. Which means when you're doing a speedo indicated 100 kph, you're doing a true speed of 90 kph.
its exactly 7-8% speedo error. tested with proper gps devices.
Yes, This is totally true and I have seen pretty common in these segment bikes. Thanks for sharing this.
@@saswatsenapati7870Can u plz explain y is it so
Planning to buy this
Great.❤
Mene booked kr Li hai 🥳
congrats buddy 👍
Bhai kitne ki PDI final.price aur konse state mai
Vstrom250 or Triumph 400x?
My type of rides-- city ride and normal highway tour
Please suggest
No doubt Triumph 400X if you don’t have budget constraints.
Bro,
This bike surely give 35 kmpl + if you drive below 80 KMPH,
I think you are driving to fast because if you go more then that then 30 kmpl is ok
Yeah bro, I know it is give good Mileage but I love to ride it fast 😀
If fog light installed does showroom denies warranty
It depends if you have disturbed any electrical wiring (like cutting n joining of wires). In my case I have used proper relays(plug n play, no cutting requires), so I didn't face this issue. Even recently I changed my battery at Rs 0 under warranty.
as you ride Himalayan too, which one do you prefer between v strom and Himalayan
See bro it's tough question 😂
For me what matters most is Reliability (as I travel Solo to mostly remote places), Refinement(Smoothness), Good Highway touring Capability(like effort less crusing power for long duration) which I feel still lacks in Himalayan.
So I would still choose Vstorm.
But but but I love the off-roading capability( torque, suspension) of Himalayan. If there is a situation where off-roading and mountain ghat roads are there (for example Ladakh) then I would choose Himalayan. But practically to reach Ladakh(any such places) one need to travel hell lots of miles on Highways.
❤❤
🙏
Som Bhai, can you review 2024 edition, I planning to buy. But I get to know there is some engine issue is there with 2024 edition.
Where are you from?

Sure bro, I will try.
Issue hai kya isme? 2024
Bhai v strom vs Hero Xpulse which one should I take
If offroading is your preference then go for Xpulse else if you want to tour on highways mostly then vstorm.
@RoamwithSom thanks bhai
😀🙏🏼
Oh bhai sab
🙏🏼
Bhai, could you please let me know the best service center in Bangalore.
I don’t know which is best, i have tried only2. Hoodi & Hoskote service centre. I would suggest Hoodi service centre as they have good parts availability n service also.
I seen only this channel said negative on suspension.. KTM HARD SUSPENSION BRO COMOARE TO VSTORM..ktm longer suspension but quality not good
I didn't say vstorm's suspension is bad, I say it's suspension is good for highway touring but bad for off-roading.
This is ownership experience so far with this bike.
@@RoamwithSom bro k but I m not taking about off road..but tell me in village patch road some city patches how was it...
Good bro if road is smooth tarmac then this bike performance very well.
Bhai left side pulling isue to hai bike me, tyre pressure bhi sdjust kiya but still prob hai
han bhai, mera bhi same situation hai. But amount of that pulling effect gets reduced by maintaining correct pressure.
5:55 - May I know your height please ? For a reference.
5.6 feet
@@RoamwithSom ok bro thankyou 😃🙌
Spare parts availability is s major issue in pune for vstrom
Oh, is it ? In most big cities it shouldn't problematic. Suzuki has to improve on it seriously.
5k $$ budget 250??
Bike price are you asking ??
V-Strom not 'storm'.
Sry, my mistake. Corrected now ✅
I own a 14 yes old gsr150. Want to upgrade but the price doesn't justify. Suzuki engines are gems but their pricing and servicing sucks. This ans the 250s should have been priced much lower than they are now, otherwise this is going the way of inazuma. I really want to know who their head of marketing is . A japanese would surely have.more sense than an indian executive.
Yeah, now these Japanese are really making their business worst for Indian market. Abroad they are launching bikes with latest updates n features but in india same bike is continuing with price raise. This needs to be changed.
Odia pua.. Hindi re odia jhalak asuchi🎉🎉🎉
🤩🤩🙏🏼😍
2025 me lena sahi hoga for city traffic
For city traffic this bike is not comfortable.
@RoamwithSom should I go with triumph speed400
Yeah bro, it’s good motorcycles for city ride.
@@RoamwithSom thanks
🙏🏼
Bahi may petrol pump ka pas dekha
han bhai, thanks for connecting.
Of rod experience Mera 10 of 10 hay
Great 👍
Na ye bike puri tarah se off roading me liye h , nahi ye bike proper city riding ke liye h😂
baat toh sahi hai.
Excellent bike but massively overpriced.
2.18L onroad in my area
Cheaper than R15 and mt15
2.26 lac. in most of the states...
Maintain Chain & Disc brakes regularly
Yeah, but quality and durability is good.
@@rohithsai7178 where r u from bro
I need to buy it
I love to buy this bike but just worry about the seat height.
What’s ur height bro. Untill 5.7 there will be no problem at all.
@@RoamwithSom 5.6 only
Then bro you can manage, just you have to get habituated. Try doing multiple test rides it will give u confidence n clarity.
@@user-kkrI am 5ft6in. I lower the rear spring by 1 inch and comfortable already with the height.
@ Thanks. But how do you lower it? Can we do it manually or do we need to change any parts?
How could be this as budget bike? It's over priced
If u compare with Gixer since both are same bike
I wouldn't agree when you say it is same bike as Gixer. I completely understand and agree both share same engine, chassis, suspension etc... but there are differences like tyre size, handling, tweaking, ground clearance etc. It feels these differences doesn't matter on paper but trust me ride both the bike practically in different scenarios, you will feel the difference (specially in long distance touring)
If I talk about pricing, yes it is overpriced if you compare the actual worth of the changes over Gixer. But this is brand strategize their products line up.
