Bro I'm using V-Storm for the last 3 months and I have clocked around 6700kms. If I speak about the pros - ( high way cruising) 1.sweet cruising speed is between 85 - 95kmph and after second service I feel better even at 100kmph. 2.High stance and road presence. 3. Fuel efficiency - 35-36kmpl in cities, highway- 40-42kmpl, 4. Seats are good for long drives. Cons: 1.poor rear braking 2. False neutrals and gear tightness mostly when you engage 2nd gear. 3. Poor headlight throw. 4. As you said suspension during single ride is a mess. Ps:- overall I'm satisfied with my V Storm for the convenience and engine refinement that it provides.

After the third service, I changed - the air filter, spark plug, oil filter and engine oil as recommended. In addition, I changed the fork oil which has to be done at 150000kms. Now my is super refined and also can change in pick up as well. Especially in 3 and fourth gear which is helpful in highway overtaking. One personal suggestion from my side is to do regular service and if required detailed consulting with service guys if you feel any discomfort related pick up and refinement. And don't forget to lube if you see the chain is dry.. Happy riding guys... 🙌🤝

That's also why engines need liquid cooling to extract better performance numbers.. which may sound exciting but engine loses it's character..which is why people talk about REs character and less about their performance

Handlebar risers cause I'm 6'1"a and 100 kg with gear. The one essential touring mod I wanted to do but couldn't was add a 14 tooth front sprocket so it cruised at a 100(110 on speedo) at lower RPMs. I haven't been able to find a 14 T front sprocket that would fit the V-Strom SX.

Is this bike seating position comfortable for heighted people like 5' 8" and above.. I saw that for many bikes the gear lever and foot rest position is not little front but just in line with the front seat. which may cause the legs to bend and legs are not 90 deg angle but like acute angle position. This can cause pain in thigh or knee area in long tour. How is this in Suzuki V Strom SX 250 ? Is it comfortable to sit ?
I feel when you start the bike it feel the sweetest between 80-90 but once the engine gets heated and the oil starts heating it feels good even at 110 and I can cruise between 100-120. However below 110 is the best. Bhai aap wife ko pillion le k 110 pe kyon cruise karte ho. It can get really uncomfortable for the pillion.

Which one to choose on the basis of mentioned aspacts (ride with pillion, with good comfortable riding, crusing on 100 kmph atleast, after market saddle bag availability ) ? Options are :- 1. FZ 250 2. Dominar 250 3. V Strom 250. Your suggestion is valuable for me. Thanks

What i dont like about this bike is the front Suspension looks cheap. Handle bar is also skinny. Any person who dont kno the price of this will think this is under 2 lak cus of the looks.

It's just a normal 250 cc street bike with tall look. Anydays ktm 250 is better.
