Thank you for providing the best EICMA review of all motorcycle manufacturers. Your professionalism to your craft shines through, well done! TB Seattle, Washington USA
Thank you I will take a Honda CB350s for the city, KTM 390 Adventure R for the dirt, and a Triumph Speed Twin for weekend outrides. Do you accept Debit Card?
Excellent show report. Great to see so many new &/or revised models. I was prior very interested in the CB1000 Hornet to maybe replace my Gen 1 CB1000R.....Newer bike priced well but lack of IMU or same as a cost option is notable for me.... Red Honda badging supposedly identifed premium Honda bikes in recent years & notably absent here ....Kawasaki Z900 SE or MT-09 SP both have IMU & would be my likely choices of more price accessible (& better insurable) sports naked bikes useable for UK roads.
Awesome summary of EICMA Chad, well done!!! Im not able to attend, as i live in Cape Town, South Africa. You are a very experienced motorcyclist 'fundi' and this comes through strongly. Thanks!!!
Great summary of the EICMA. Just one minor point for me to make. My NC750x DCT very rarely goes into towns or cities unless it’s places like Potes, Leon, Caceres, Salamanca, Cordoba, Rhonda, Malaga, Marbella, Thessaloniki, Sofia, Plovdiv, Kavala, Bruges, Condom, etc, etc. Mine has done nearly 15,000 miles this year alone. Amazing machine.
This is part of the problem with Honda essentially ignoring the NC and not delivering a better bike, journos just lump in as commuter rather than what people actually use them for. What they should be doing is criticising Honda for not offering a better package.
A beauty but it won’t be cheap. My ‘24 ZX-10R is faster, doubtless smoother, more reliable, and cost £14,300. So not sure what the point is (and i speak as a KTM owner).
It was a great summary of a part of the EICMA. The video should be named "The ultimate Big Brand Motorcycle guide for 2025". Skipped so many "lower brands" that are forcing big brands to update their lineup on terms of tech and price. Where was Voge, Benelli, Benda, Morini, Macbor, etc? I was amazed to see him talk about CFMoto and Zontes 😅 Maybe it will have a part 2?
2025 will be such a good year for new bike-models, however the prices are just to steep it is ridiculous, prices must come down or wages have to come up. Because as we speak bike manufacturers and stores are shooting them self's in the foot, bikes will sell less and less every year if something does not happen. I am not sure about the rest of the world but here in Sweden at least, you see less and less new bikes every year, most people buy used bikes several years old because the people that ride bikes here have gone from a lot of people buying them for fun and work to now almost only people with a lot of money to have some fun on the weekends. I bought my 2017 Ninja 1000 SX will all the accessories and panniers back in 2017 brand new for 11700 Euro which I thought was pretty expensive back then. That same bike now with the same accessories cost over 19 000 Euro, that is just not realistic for a person with a normal working wage over here. It is so sad to see less and less people out riding on the streets every year =(
Nice Ducati 900SS practicale with termoninis. My favorite of the completely new EICMA bikes is the Morini 350. Second the KTM SDGT 1390, third the Megura, fourth the ducati practicale 900, fifth Panigale V4S. Sure, style-wize it‘s more difficult and the ducati panigale V4S is likely at the front.
Was that really Trade and Press Day? Seemed to be a fairly casual crowd that just got in the way. I was almost running to see everything when I went there.
I’m happy that Yamaha has updated the xsr900 with a bigger dash and a few other things. Really thrilled that the states will get the Raven with gold wheels trim. Looks nice. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
That 1000 Hornet... very tasty. NT11000 needing wheelie control, are Honda having a laugh? MV Augusta Brutale, a bike I would lick. Tiger 800 has to be winner in sales.
If you think the Honda GB350S looks cool you should check out the " C " version. C for classic, it look like a 1950s' bike - Japan only at the moment but who knows? The GB350 was released in India about 3 years ago - known as the " CB350 H'ness ". I've waited all that time for it to come to the UK and now I want the 'C' version.
I think inline 4 600s really are on their death bed as it seems like they're being phased out in racing as well. Twins and Triples will be the new standard for the supersport class for the world stage. Aprilia slowly beefing up the Rs660, Ducati's new V2, the R9, KTM RCR 990(Maybe), CFmotos 675. We're already seeing Ptwins(R7) at the world stage for the WCR, which produces phenomenal racing. Inline 4 600s will be just for nostalgia and only be made for that reason and Kawasaki & Honda will be the last manufacturers standing. At least until sales are so low, even when its only split between two manufacturers isn't enough to warrant making them anymore. 5 Years from now, they'll be gone.
Congrats for the great work and video! Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this Honda GB350 already available about a year ago? What's so new about it that they put it at this year's EICMA?
According to their product sheet Moto Guzzi V100 has no Adaptive Cruise Control… so actually 7:48 is not fully correct. Only FCW, Blind Spot and Lane Change Assist. Also, IMHO they should have a look at the KTM Super Duke GT to learn how you make a front radar almost invisible… what they did to the V100 is just to ruin a beautiful front, and not even bringing the full functionality in exchange for that.
What's your favourite model for 2025? Write it in the comments!
Tiger Sport 800
Tiger Sport as above
Streetfighter V2
Honda Hornet 1000
Tiger Sport 800 in black.
DR-Z4S if it comes at a decent price. Dual sports are pretty rare in Europe and I quite like them as commuters.
BWM F450 GS could be a winner
Best EICMA summary I've seen so far. Well done!

That 650 air cooled Royal Enfield is nice...😅 Looks like fun!
No news on a upgrade for the Goldwing, one would have thought that as it's the 50th anniversary of the Wing something would be announced
KTM 990 RC ❤ What a beauty!

The Honda Rebal 1100 always came with DCT
I wish I had a big enough garage and wallet to be able to buy so many of these bikes!
