    Yezdi adventure vs vstrom sx 250 what would you pick

    • @FTRClub
      @FTRClub  2 года назад

      That’s a tricky question. Honestly I will pick the Suzuki V Strom SX, due to its smooth engine and it produces significantly lesser heat than the Yezdi. The build quality too is far superior on Suzuki. The gearbox is very smooth which I found to be quite clunky on the Yezdi Adventure. And biggest factor of all, the Suzuki is nearly 20kgs lighter than Yezdi.
      I know I will sacrifice the front suspension travel on Suzuki while off-roading but frankly speaking how often do we go off the road.

    Really enjoyed your review on the bike. I'd like to have your review on the effectiveness of that tall windscreen? Till which kmph do you feel it as useful.
    2. Is the pillion seat bigger than that of sf250 or Gixxer 250 ?
    As my intention is to use this reliable engine but will be using it mostly for 70 city and 30 highway. I'm focusing on mileage to be more than 35 and a good pillion comfort for parents. Thanks.

    • @FTRClub
      @FTRClub  2 года назад

      Thanks a lot buddy. I am glad you liked it.
      Windscreen isn’t good looking, but it’s more of function over form. It definitely prevents wind blast even at higher speeds and that’s the reason why I didn’t have to crouch down at all. Please keep in mind that I am 5’ 9” tall.
      The pillion seat is derived from the other 250cc siblings but it’s definitely bigger in length & width. The cushioning is spot in and passengers/pillion will definitely appreciate the comfort.
      Reliability: There’s no question about it, as it’s a Suzuki. And people are extracting nearly 40kmpl in city traffic while riding at permitted speed.

    • @FTRClub

      Suzuki VStrom considering the refinement, superior build quality, light weight and Suzuki’s reliability.
      If you want to know in detail then VStrom engine is far more tractable and friendly across wide variety of usage be it city, highways or off road. It doesn’t heat up like the Yezdi and is definitely lot smoother than Yezdi.
      The bike is significantly lighter in weight, which means easier to handle, better performance and better fuel economy.
      The build quality is way better in Suzuki and u won’t see ugly/unfinished weld marks, no unnecessary panel gaps either and the paint quality too is superior on Suzuki.

      Do you guys have the Gixxer 250 or the Gixxer 250SF in PH? If those bikes are existing in your place, then this would launch sooner. Else, it may be a bit tricky to understand if Suzuki will launch it there or not.

      Sadly Versys X-250 isn’t available in India, but there’s no doubt that the Versys will be far superior than this. I own a Ninja 300 and have ridden Ninja 250 countless times. That parallel twin engine on Kawasaki is brilliant. Moreover the Versys has a chassis and suspension designed for off-road usage.

      Bangalore main KTM ka price issey 30,000 jyada hai, but KTM main aapko jyada advanced liquid-cooled 4v engine milta hai, slipper clutch hai, plus rear abs ko disable kar sakte hai, sath hi main better suspension aur superior brakes bhi milte hai, uska fuel tank bhi bada hai.
      Is hisaab se extra price meaningful hai KTM Adv 250 ka.

      Exactly. Mainey jab video main kaha ki is bike main power aur hona chahiye aur suspension travel tboda aur hota to behtar hota, to kuch viewers bhadak gaye. Ab zabardasti makkhan laga k viewers ko gumrah karna accha nahi hota.
      Main 100% aapse agree karta hu.

      Thanks a lot for the honest feedback. I really appreciate it. Ride safe and stay safe brother.

      Looks like you got me wrong brother. I didn’t talk sh/t about this bike, in fact I absolutely loved it, every bit of it. Specially the superior build quality and that unbelievably smooth engine.
      Just that I am a bit experienced in off-roading and I would have loved to see a little bit more travel with the front suspension. This is a perfect bike for our Indian roads be it city or highways at a brilliant price.

      @@FTRClub brother if u ride superior cc bikes and if u ride a 250 cc bike u feel low performance.. you should accept the power delivary of this bike.. i test drived this bike i think the power is sufficient for a 250 cc.. i noticed u were complaining about the power... multiple times.this bike can do the top speed of 150 if u have free road.. brother.. thats the reason i have put this comment otherwise i liked ur review not bad.. the engine is so smooth even if u rev more than 100 kmph speed.. i think its best but only bad side about this bike is the price

      I agree with you. I usually ride bigger capacity bikes. But guess what, I met 2 people today near and RE showroom who wanted to buy Scram 411, I convinced them to book the V-Strom. Sshhh… ;-)
      I liked the pricing actually. I mean yeah I could have been better, but with that extra premium Suzuki is offering impeccable quality which no other bike in this sub 3Lakh Rupees segment offers.

      I agree with the Japanese engine thing you said. I had ridden my 2009 Yamaha Fazer for over 75,000 kms without even having the engine internals touched. Same with my CBR and Ninja. These engines are indestructible 😄😄😄
      Thanks for the kind words buddy. Ride safe and stay safe. And please don’t forget to subscribe to the channel. I’d really love to see more honest feedback and constructive criticism about the videos.

      Really? I am sure you haven't ridden the properly maintained CBR brother. The time in which the V-Strom did 135 with single rider, my CBR used to do 120+ with a pillion.
      Individual experiences vastly depend on the condition of the bike we ride, is what I feel.
