Truth is that the kind of track Himalayan gives advantage over V Strom makes up only 5-10% of even an ‘adventure’ tour. V Strom is superior in every other respect. Notably a better engine, weight and safety of excellent brakes and tubeless tires. Tubeless tyres can be life-saver if you like solo tours.
Considering the type of rides the Himalayan and the Xpulse are made for, trust me, you are better off with a tubed, spoked wheel than a fragile tubless, cast alloy wheel.
@@janmejaybarve7018 which headache Is more ? Getting stuck on some remote place due to a puncture or being able to seal it on your own so that you can atleast reach some garage 50 kms ahead?
@@motivationcloud9 that really depends. While off-roading (I mean some serious off roading) I would rather have the trusty resiliant spokes than risk a rib or rim crack on the alloy. Worst case scenario, I can still ride on with a flat tire by loosening the valve nut and removing the thing from the tire that got it punctured. The old school way before tubeless tires were a thing.
@@motivationcloud9 and from my personal experience with the Himalayan, I was once actually stranded not due to a flat tire, but due to sloppy assembly work RE assembly line had done on the gearbox which led to my bike being stuck between 2nd and 3rd gear. Wasn't able to engage 2nd or 3rd properly, nor any other gear. And this happened at 1 AM, on a solo ride. So with the RE, I would worry much more about other issues than the tire anyway. This is off topic than the wheel preference, but speaking of the Himalayan its a big thing to consider.
V storm i think better which covers both and the speed and pull which we want that will get only by v storm sx 250 whar a speed yaar nearly 145-150 its going 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I don't understand why people compare Himalayan and xpulse all the time. 200cc difference and price around 1lakh difference. Himalayan is very good; an all rounder because it can catch higher speeds than xpulse on the highway (400c hain na bhai) and it has off road capability. Who doesn't want a bike like that with a very convenient seat height(this factor is very often neglected). Pure off road/dirt stuff I think xpulse performs better because it has better suspension travel, it is lighter and easier to maneuver. Both bikes are good in their own way.
If your normal highway speed is 90 kmph, ditch the Himalayan and go for the XPulse. Low-end torque is a huge advantage for Himalayan, but the weight makes it lose that advantage. If you want to frequently ride with a pillion, don't get XPulse.
Himalayan has a 400 cc engine, but 250 cc engines produce more power than the Himalayan. So whats the point of having a weak 400 cc Engine? In my opinion, Xpulse is VFM and is indeed an off road bike good for city use. Himalayan is more for touring purpose than off roading.
@@MultiHITMAN69 The torque characteristics are better with Himlayan, so it is a better motorcycle for beginners and casual riders. A liquid cooling system would have made it better for stop-and-go traffic. XPulse has better off-road characteristics due to its lighter weight and stiffer suspension, and the rally kit is a huge plus. But, if you want an allrounder, it still cannot perform well enough. It really needs another 100cc.

V storm is not made for off-road. It's a complete touring bike claimed by the company itself. Comparing Himalayan with Xpulse I believe is not relevant as both bikes are different in their own segment.
Suzuki is a said to be a adventure tourer. Basically it's a touring body on a sporty engine with adv ready groud clearance . But best for touring only..
Off road mein Himalayan mein handling V strom se better isliye bhi lagti hai kyunki Himalayan ka throttle response slow hai. V Strom ke relatively powerful throttle response ki thodi habit banani padegi.
Xpulse is a lightweight offroad bike ..not seen bike so lightweight for offroading but the fact can't be changed that Himalayans built in quality, higher comfort, Higher comfort for saddling etc is many many times better tha n any bike in budget.
