    The confidence you exhibited Bhai! I'm 5'4 and tip top CB35O with 800mm seat height. Thing is initially, my tip toe used to ache but eventually I'm used to it now I don't feel any pain. Initially I have dropped my bike on a muddy surface but feel nowadays I am able to control my bike very well. Thanks for your video 😀

In fact I have enjoyed riding this more than my ninja. Maybe because of the feeling of the challenge it offers. Now I’m looking forward to upgrading to zx6r as well. Those bikes terrified me before . • @thestone3849

    Thanks for this video. Actually these companies should think of it. The short riders. It's not that difficult to engineer a bike for short riders with acceptable or reasonable ground clearance. Look at those heavy bikes with seat height close to 800 mm . Once you get your feet flat you can handle bike of triple your weight. See HD, RE etc.
    Companies just do not want to spend anything and want to earn money. That's it. Why the hell short guys are deprived of good bikes??? Hell with these companies. They are fools, they go by average ht statistics only. But in India it will not work.
    Btw. I am 5feet 4 inch, weight 67, age 64

    • @RealAutoReviews
      @RealAutoReviews  Год назад +1

      That's true. Look at the Yamaha TW200. Ground clearance more than a BMW1250GS (264 mm!) and a.seat height lower than even the most 100 cc commuters' (790 mm).

  • @thestone3849
    @thestone3849 Год назад +2

    Actually height should not be any problem, weight do have , but ultimately that confidence and feeling that
    Yes , i can handle it,
    Is important.
    I am 5 ft 4 inch and could handle this bike pretty well than my FZ25..800 mm seat ht. Coz it's well balanced bike

    Suppose I have a commuter motorcycle which supports both heel and toe shifter which should be used more often and why?

    • @RealAutoReviews
      @RealAutoReviews  Год назад +4

      If your bike has a heel and toe shifter, then use it the way you like. I prefer the toe-only shifter, even if it has a heel-shift extension. I want my muscle memory to be proper, so that I don't subconsciously try to find a heel shifter when there isn't one 😃

    These kind of motivational video is for single riding and without heavy luggage and on tarmac road. But if you think practically person with small height will not be able to use it without any constraint (like with pillion , tilted road or deep water crossing ). What is the use of a buying a 2.5L bike if you cant use it as all purpose bike ?

    • @RealAutoReviews
      @RealAutoReviews  Год назад +1

      Different people have different needs. This video shows that a person of my height can ride on tarmac. There would be a lot of people who would primarily use it in the city and also on the highways as a touring motorcycle. And guess what, with good judgement and practice, they will be able to manage the bike on the toughest terrains as well. To summarise: will it be comfortable for short riders? NO. Can short riders still ride it anywhere they want? Yes.

    @harshsingh8012 Год назад

    I have a question I will be happy if answer this question in your video, don't worry you don't have to arrange any bike. My question is why sports bikes don't have heel shifter I believe other people also want to know this

    • @RealAutoReviews
      @RealAutoReviews  Год назад +3

      Because they are not commuter bikes. Their rider triangle and ergonomics do not allow a heel shifter. To ride performance-oriented motorcycle optimally, your foot should be place on the footpeg in such a way that your toes or balls (at max) of your foot is on the peg, and the heel should be on the heel plate. That's how you control a sportbike, with your lower extremities. In such a position, heel shifter would be a nightmare. In fact, motorcycles traditionally have always had just the toe shifter. Only the Indians require such absurdities, and manufacturers have to comply. Hope this helps! 😃

    Is there any lowering links or kit available to reduce height of this bike as available for DL650?

    • @BlackMambo5
      @BlackMambo5 Год назад +1

      Yes lower seat height is there, for my test ride the bike which I rode had lower seat height. If you are considering this bike, I would strongly suggest against that lower seat as it will make your bum-bones hurt in 5mins. Better to learn how to ride if you are short height than being miserable the whole time you're driving. You put your foot down for maybe 10% during your ride time. So unless you want it as your city bike and for daily heavy traffic riding, then there might be better cheaper options than this bike. That's my view, baaki aap dekhlo.
