Voip is amazing. Doing an extract with a Scav as a pmc is great. Fence gave me a g36 after doing it once, plus the scav karma. Also I have done a few quests with the help of voip
My buddy and I voiped and met three other PMCs that were super chill. Heard one in white pawn and we told him we were just doing quests and the the guy responds "alright, see ya" and runs away. We were shocked voiping worked lol
Damn I needed to hear this, keep up the solid tips my guy, tired of smashing my head against the wall trying the same quest 6 times in a row, broke and sad lol
Nice. Usually if I take a break from a quest that's kicking my ass, ill breeze right through it when I come back to it.
I agree with most you say, except for one thing : hideout. If you look at it for a whole wipe period (let's say 6 months), the hideout will make/save you a lot of money (crafts : either for own use or for selling) The faster you have the whole thing upgraded to level 3 stations, the more money you'll make/save over a 6 month period. Things like magazine cases, SJ6,......will always sell, cause no matter what time of the wipe, people need them. (That means for instance : spend the 900k on a ledx to get medstation to level 3 asap, so you can start making propital --> sj1 --> sj6 relatively cheap and sell the SJ6 for 50-60k, later in wipe 60-80k) Things like Moonshine will always keep its value as well, so the sooner you can start crafting it, the better. You can use it in your scav case, people need it for barters and their scav case, so it will also sell at all times. And the sooner you are on the market as one of sellers, the more money you make compared to those who only come on the market after 1-2 months. And therefor I find it way more important to pick up bolts, nuts, bulbs, relays, ...... instead of a scope or suppressor early wipe. You can always use other scopes/sights, but if you don't pick up the hideout items, then you gonna have to pay 60-100k for them when you need to buy them. (so yeah, better to find them yourself, that saves heaps of money as well)
VOIP also works in the animal kingdom. Usually when a brutal monkey is a tyrant towards his group, the smart ones can gather the rest of the group to have him banished.1
I think the important distinction when picking ammo is not necessarily to only use the most expensive, but to know how to use the ammo effectively. You can buy cheap ass rounds with huge damage and short time to kill (if you shoot for unarmoured areas), but you will not find much success trying to penetrate face shields and armoured thoraxes without the penetration that higher priced ammo typically provides. Big agree with the tip about trying something else if you get caught in those brutal failure cycles!

Great vid and I agree about VOIP!! Before it came out I was really against the whole idea of it and thought it was going to ruin the game etc but I couldn't have been more wrong. It's especially great while playing a scav and being able to trade with other scavs or just shoot the shit while in the raid.

Is it not hard to VOIP with a scav player as a PMC? I know that the coop exfil only work if you working together with a scav, but I can't imagine any situation where the scav doesn't shoot you immediately when he seeing you.
@@nyuszicsib Part of the challenge is to get one to trust you I guess. It's doable but not always possible lol.
big tip from me: all the hardcore nerds play after 10pm so if you can, just stop playing after 10pm

The air filter upgrade works it just doesn't matter of there is a filter in it or not.

VOIP has helped me out alot. I love it
honestly if you smoke a joint before you play you have unlimited patience and you can hapilly wait in a bush for 20+ miniutes and usually seems to turn out well

VOIP is crazy. Was on customs, turned a corner of a train outside and there was a guy in the grass prone with a broke leg. Didn't even see him but he Voip me saying "Please don't kill me dude" and I was like "My guy I didn't even see you, you could of blown me away, no way I'm gonna shoot you." So he asked me for a splint, I literally just looted one, and parted ways, wished each other luck. God I love this game sometimes.

Hey there, still new and first wipe I'm actually taking tarky seriously. As a new player looking at different ammo, how do I determine if what I have is trash tier?
I personally use the tarkov wiki. It has a ballistics table that breaks it all down for you. The wiki also helps with maps and questing ( gunsmith parts, location of quests rooms/items ). Good luck out there!
I was literally in the process of the rage que cycle because I am doing the scrap metal quest and every time I place the marker on the tank I get the hands busy bug. It’s horrible
I was doing my peacekeepers quests today to get M856A1 unlocked from the cult part one and ran into 4 man groups 3 times in a row while doing humanitarian it made me so mad
The thing i do, is using found in raid attachments with what ammo i find, cuz i dont have flea, but after i get flea, i will still keep random attachments, that are not dogshit, cuz thats cheaper
When I'm a scav I use Voip and chill but when I'm a pmc I kill on sight every time haha
Can you make or point me in a direction of a guide for what items to pick up and sell to vendors? I can't seem to find any guides for pre MP money making.
Is there a way to establish more permanent contact with guys you meet in game, other than to relay a Discord user name or something like that?
At the moment not really unless one kills the other and takes their dog tag to add in game but if you made a friend that’s probably not very realistic 😂 wondering if BSG would ever implement a business card like feature to identify people just like a dog tag but u don’t gotta die to drop it to people

Air filtration unit isn’t broke.. it does work it’s bugged though you get the 40% skill increase without filters in
lol - sorry, don't worry about upgrading your hideout - just upgrade 60% of it to get the air flitration unit :D

I die more just doing loot runs then just rushing for quests and getting out.. I think I just suck, I die before I even really pull the trigger, most bullets I've shot is about 8

You can't get Air Filtration Unit until at least level 28 (Skier 3)! And Library needs Mechanic 3 (level 40)! For Hideout the two components I prioritize are Stash level 2 (since I don't have EoD) and Intelligence Center level 1 (for Scav tasks). This requires Security 1 & 2, Generator 1, Illumination 1 & 2 and Vents 1 & 2. Nice to haves are Heating 1 & 2, Lavatory 1 & 2, Medstation 1, Nutrition 1 & 2, Rest Space 1, Water Collector 1 and Workbench 1. All of which are just parts & cash (and some level 2 skills) - no XP or trader levels.
I always try to VoIP with other scavs, I can't say I've done it much as a PMC.
If at first you don't succeed - try again. If you fail again, maybe you need to rethink your methods. Can you do the quest at night? Wait until later in the raid to try your objective? Bring a buddy (or two) to watch your back?
Guns make the hits - ammo makes the kills.
I have some bad ass akmn builds but not a lot of bp..so until I do I'm gonna use other guns.
Yep voip is so good fully ended up rocking with like 5 player scavs was awesome they fully ruined other teams for me was such a good laugh

Not getting betrayed using voip if you are carrying good gear is something i just see impossible, if you are wearing a very cheap kit or something its worth a try maybe, but being good geared isnt worth the risk i would say

It depends how you read the room. I’m level 32 carrying good stuff about 70% of my raids, I’ve been betrayed maybe 3 times but hey it’s tarkov. If the person sounds sus he’s more than likely gonna kill you. My tip for voip the words King, Gentleman and Hey man I hear you over there normal give you good responses

For the love of god use voip!!! Other scavs… stop shooting scavs in the back for their loot, just ask what you need and most ppl will help you out
Honestly, though. I’m never down that bad to sweat some 80k item. Scav is just a chill run where I may get into some shenanigans and help staunch a bleed from a bad PMC run.
tbh what worked for me was SLOWDOWN u not young anymore u not a chad anymore, hold angles and if u have a team comms are op.

ive developed insane anxiety from who knows what over the last few years and it gets bad with this game, but after i stick with it through a couple raids it goes away. before those first couple raids in the day my stomach would drop as soon as i seen that loading in timer and id get chills/sweat
@@shin867 For me it all depends on what I start with and what I find. especially if I find what I need for a quest or something super good. my heart races and I get super scared. I get its part of the game, to try and find stuff and sometimes you just get lucky or unlucky, but I just can't handle it.
Why does everyone say the btc farm is not worth it, this is just complete cap lmao. Tier 1 btc farm is 100% worth building for basically every1, you can pay it off in like 18 days.

The fact that we've had so many armour, helmet, hitreg and ammo bugs over the years just makes me fail to believe anything anyone says any more. The game has no trust. No feedback. No reliability. He sprayed you down with M856 ammo and it barely busted your shield? I've MAG DUMPED M995, M856A1, you name it at people, BS rounds, whatever, the "best ammo for your gun", and they just turn after getting hit 10 times and one-tap you with inferior ammo. I had to stop playing just over a year ago, it was too inconsistent and just causing constant annoyance.

@@TweakGG Your giving misinformation. The air filtration unit works. Airwing Marine checked stats before building it and then after he built it. You get the bonuses with or without the filter being put into the unit. As long as you build it you will get the bonuses. No need to waste the money on filters unless they patch it.
