Dib Dib z-moves and dynamax/gigantimax seem like specific region mechanics that won’t ever leave their native region. Mega evolution was used in games for gen 1, 3, 6, and 7.something to return when Pokémon games either remake a game or make another game like Pokémon battle revolution (which we need imo)

My theory about the third legendary beast, is that, there was actually two old beta designs of Raikou and Entei, that appeared on old pre-realease Pokémon posters, but these two designs differ from the beta designs from the gold and silver space-world demo, as they are closer to the final designs, and I believe, that the three original legendary beasts, were the beta entei, beta raikou, with the original third legendary beast being the unused design, and when entei and raikou were redesigned, and replaced by their final designs, the unused legendary beast design was replaced by suicune as the third legendary beast

Hoops copy-pasted those images/info and used it in this video. All the Gen 4 beta sprite stuff was from December -- I covered the leak, interviewed the leaker, and organized the beta sprites on my site. Hoops copy-pasted all those images and info off my website and used it in this video. In January I hired an artist to make some Lost Pokemon art, then a few days after I posted it on Twitter, Hoops was using it as his video thumbnail. To put all this info together, I've spent countless hours, plus thousands of dollars buying Japanese books, magazines, and hiring translators and artists. Hoops knows I'm not "dead," he's just swimming in my wake. How much y'all want a bet that we have DMax and GMax because the team needed a break from designing mega evolutions? And with Diamond and Pearl they'll bring them back? I can see it happening-it looks like the Pokemon timeline has two separate universes. One with Mega Evolution, and one without it. SwSh could easily be in a universe with no mega evolution. Diamond and Pearl being remakes could easily bring back the mechanic. And we would be able to see Mega-Flygon, Mega Sinnoh starters, perhaps mega legendaries as well.

The ???-Type Arceus was likely a Failsafe in case the game couldn't work out which type it was supposed to be. Better to prepare a glitch like that than to have the whole game commit over a small coding issue.
That being said; I don't see why Normal couldn't have been the default Failsafe type if this is the case.

??? Type arceus was basically made as a fail safe to prevent the game from crashing if obtained through unconventional means. It's a surprisingly common thing that developers do either for debug purposes or for the off chance that players obtain content through glitches.

White Pichu would’ve started a 3rd form for all Pokémon called Albino Pokemon, but it was cut to not overcomplicate details of the game. It would also be a lot for the Nintendo DS (at the time) to handle. Z was never happening. It isn't possible. If apon X&Y's release they were going to release Z the following year, that means ORAS were coming out the year after that.
There is no way they took a 24 months until shipping timeline and somehow halved it due to canceling Z.

It's my personal opinion that maybe, Eternal Flower Floette was cut from the game, because it was, quote, "Given eternal life," therefore it can't canonically faint, and wouldn't make sense, so they cut it.

I hadn't heard about the scrapped Gen 4 gender differences before, but it explains a lot of things. It seemed odd that a handful of seemingly arbitrary Pokemon received minor gender differences, and that the concept was never revisited in the same way. Sure, we've seen gender differences since, but they're extremely noticeable and play a major role in the Pokemon's design. The notable exception to this is Eevee, who was given one to parallel Pikachu. The idea that the original plan was to give every Pokemon gender differences, but the idea was scrapped and only a few remained, it makes sense.
