Back at my old school when it was the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who they changed the school bell to the normal theme song and this theme It was so cool
This song elicits speech such a strong emotion within me. It is full of nostalgia, hope, fear, strength and honestly a bit of badassery. It is just perfection and looking back on matt’s time as the doctor, it makes me want to cry. But you have this middle very chippy part that reminds you of how the doctor can be a little bit childish and light hearted, but then it gets back into the “don’t mess with me” part. Just genius composition

I love what he said about his strategy right before he regenerated: "I don't have a plan. Talk fast, hope something good happens, take the credit. That's generally how it works." When I heard that, I burst out laughing and thought, "Yep!"
The best theme. 11th doctor was so much more out there than the others. He was tough, and sad, and he was always running. His story was fast pace and crazy and wild and his theme song reflects that.
Truly I would say it was Steven Moffat's Genius work! One side Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock and Other side Matt Smith as Doctor and giving us fast pace witty dialogues with perfect story telling, we were most lucky to watch them and enjoy.

That is actually poetic and makes sense. I’ve been binged watching the series and seeing this made me remember how much he went through. But indeed, a good man goes to war.
Helping someone with their homework is so much more fun with this theme. Anytime you have to do a menial chore like the dishes or cleaning the windows, or god forbid, writing essays play this music in a loop and it isn’t so boring anymore. If I don’t finish this essay, people will die. Damn it pen why did you run out of ink the Daleks are coming.
It took me rewatching the show to figure out that "Basically, run" is the one quote that never left the Doctor throughout his regenerations! Yes, the 11th is mainly know to have the quote from his first episode, but if you rewatch the show from the 9th doctor up, you hear this line repeated constantly! But with this song they really made it stand out!

The 11ths adventures were something else. Episodes that felt like filler were always tied in to the overall plot. Fantastic writing.

Whether played by William Hartnell or Peter Capaldi, Tom Baker or David Tennant, Jonathan Pertwee or Matt Smith, he is and always will be the Doctor. The Oncoming Storm, the Madman in the Blue Box, The Predator of the Daleks, and the man that makes the monsters run and hide from him.
