Curious - I have a plantronics c054-xd and it looks like the battery is built in to the removable cover from the headset - to replace you have to order that whole piece i guess?
I have a CS540, watched your videos and it is still not working. It worked fine than one day I do not get dial tone when i press the button on the headset to call out. Also If i answer a call the caller can hear me but I can not hear the caller.

Can't hear any audio in C054 headset. It does not beep when I press the button on the headset, but it does activate the green phone light on the base. I have tried a full reset and a new battery. It worked in the past and then one day stopped. Anything else I can try?
Someone told me about the auto answer option on the base. I tried it out and decided i dont like it, but it wont shut off. I ran through these steps to see if resetting will correct it, but it didnt work. UGH!
Hi Ashlyn, are you in the US or Canada by chance? I ask because the C054A variant is a European version and will causes issues being used in the US or Canada. The US or Canada variant would say C054 without the “A”.
Hello, im trying to figure out why the charging receiver and headset lights up/blinks when someone talks loud. It doesn’t blink when the room is silent, it only blinks/lights up while it’s charging when it hears a loud noise/conversation. Can you let me know why this is?
If you're using the HL10, chances are the microphone of the HL10 is picking up the noise of people acting as if your phone is ringing. If you do have the HL10 Lifter, you can disconnect it and duplicate the noise to see if the light stops blinking. If so, then that's what's happening.
It appears that my headset automatically reduces its volume after being on a call for 20 minutes. To fix this, I have to press the button on my Cisco phone to activate the speaker and then press it again to continue using the headset. However, this problem keeps happening repeatedly every 20 minutes during calls. I am not sure what could be causing this issue. Any idea?
Hmmm that doesn’t seem right. Update firmware on phone. Make sure your phone admin turns on your headset settings I’m assuming your using ehs cable so have them enable ehs mode for Plantronics. Also try full reset unplug headset power form base and remove battery from headset.
Everything is on and working. The first connection- the headset icon was on. I was able to call and disconnect. now the icon for the headset is no longer available. I dont understand why I stopped working in 10mins of the first usage . The problem is that my headphone isn't connected to the phone. everything is enable on the phone.
@@RobbieXO there's many factors of what could be wrong. If you're able to return, that's the first thing we'd recommend. Then buying from a local provider to help ensure you get the right headset and have support after will save you a lot of time and money in the end.
Ugh! This didn’t work for me! The headset connects to the phone- like I can pick it up, or hang it up but I have zero sound. I have the C054. Not sure what to do

Our head set will stop connecting to the actual phone. It will still answer or hang up the phone but we can’t hear on the headset. This worked!

This is the second headset I've purchased and the person can hear me, but I can't hear a dial tone or them. Please help

This didn’t work. The base is blinking red and green lights.
Sorry to hear that. What you described typically means the headset system is defective. At this point we'd recommend ordering a replacement.
