Dude. DUDE. How many times have I tried making a smooth stroke, using Lazy Mouse, only to have to undo it and try again because it wasn't quite right. This is a HUGE game changer.
This is singlehandedly the most important update to Substance Painter I have seen yet. Thankyou for this. I am sure that everyone in the community appreciated the new tool!
Wow this is amazing. People were afraid that Substance would die after Adobe bought it, but I'm so glad that the opposite happened. You have significantly improved the software with amazing tools.
You know they could have just thrown a really lazy implementation of paths in there, but this is well polished and useful out of the box! You can even have multiple on the same layer with different materials and still edit them at any time. Awesome.
Nice to finally see more non-destructive features. Can't believe it does not have handles though. Please add handles, as just adding more points to the line makes the line harder to move.

This is going to make me get 23 on Steam. Nice work, and (i almost cant believe im saying this) thank you Adobe for pushing the initial release of 23 as well as its first patch to 22. That was really cool of you all. Hoping we get some updates to the baking room (like adjusting the cage manually) within this release year!
This is absolutely fantastic. I've been messing around with it on some projects. The fact that it is 100% non destructive and you can go back and edit any curve is great, the new tools made to use with it are awesome as well. I hope they continue to make brushes/tools that work with paths. Paths simplifies my workflow tremendously. Great update.
Finally it's here, I see a missing feature from the video, hopefully you did it, we need the ability to create "radiuses" on the interesection points or vertexes in order to precisely create curves on hard geomtry, basically imagine two straight lines with a sharp vertex, and then add a radius with a specific size on that vertex, as you do in illustrator.
Fa fa Finally. I ve been wondering why they don't have a pen tool so far. i was always observing and suffered to manage without pen tool in substance painter. Thanks god finally really now life becomes better
I work in Amazon , we do all Brands of shoes and other hard-surface models in 3D if they add this in our SP it's gonna be more helpful for our utilization

this is absolutely amazig, BUT we need this to also work in the 2D view, same goes for warping. only being able to do so in the 3D View ist needlessly restricting
Hi, thx for this awesome feature, I wonder if it's possible to "fill" the closed path ? for now it seems that we need to have on outline with the path tool and add a standar paint to mannually fill the center. menning when I change the shape of my path I have to manually update the center filling thanks !
Finally, for dear god, you cannot imagine me having to manually draw all of this... Good thing is that now i have a great pulse.

Found a work around for this? Currently wondering the same thing, a fill option would be amazing.
@@LeviJM sadly for now I just draw outline shape and redraw in another paint effect the filling.....wacky but work a bit
