    You can also drag the tattoo directly onto the model, it will ask if you want it as mask or in a channel, and then it is directly applied as warp without you needing to set it up manually.

    The feature to isolate meshes within the same object is also super helpful. Maybe not as new as the rest but some coworkers don't know about it yet

    This popped up in my suggested vids at the right time, just opened painter and everything has changed haha
    Loving the new baker, being able to visualise the cages and how each bake is going in real time is going to save a tonne of headaches!

    Thank you very much for the video on the new stuff! The warp feature is an awesome new addition for sure!
    I would be super happy with a stable and working Smear and Blur tool to be honest.
    The current Blur is a very soft Smear but there's times when it just.. won't.
    You can work with with the Blur filter and mask that off.. but bluring stuff directly is just more precise... well... would be.

    "the controllers for this is just W E and R. Just the same thing as a regular conventional 3D software" as a Blender user this is BLASPHEMY !
    just kidding, very well done video for showcasing all the new stuff. I'm loving these new features ESPECIALLY the environment alignment setting to the camera. That sh*t right there is a "enable and forget" type of change.
    and BTW, i am Turkish and never heard of Niyazi Selimoglu before. Gonna check him out ASAP because this is a sick sculpt.

    Thanks for the video, reading the change notes I thought favorites were a weird add, like they just make another bin, but this is much better. Also, the refresh mesh thing is a life saver. I paint on CAD converted by other artists and I have to go fix non-manifold geo, lamina edges or null normals all day (since they soften the edges of the whole mesh they're on). Having the quick reload will save me tons of time vs proj config window.

    In Adobe Substance 3D Painter software, when I create a new paint layer and make changes in the Material section, those changes are applied to all existing paint layers.
    Is there a way to prevent this situation so that a change in one paint layer does not change the settings and materials of the other paint layers?

    I'd really like to have a non destructive curve painting system, e.g. dragging a curve's points around the mesh at any time (like the warp projection tool) , using mesh edges as basis and guide for curves to follow combined with something like roll brush and stitches.

    question please. how u make that uv wrap seperated but still count as 1 asset ? im trying to texture a ship. but it got pixelated cause the uv map are cramp together into 1 UV. if i use 4k texture, it would be too expensive. please help.

    For warp without any layer you could directly drag and drop on the model geometry

    Thanks very much for the tips, can't believe I didn't know about Alt+Click to only have that channel active on the layer! I really wish they had fixed the eyedropper at dpi scales larger than 100% tho. I have a 4K monitor set to 150% to be able to read things but unfortunately the eyedropper still makes everything huge so the thing I wanted to sample is now cut off the edge of the screen.

    But they forgot to add the basic/essential feature - Hiding geometry/localizing selected objects

      Nah, these exist. The gray dotted square next to the blend mode and opacity gives you a checklist of all your meshs, which you can then select what you want visible on that layer. Then on the left of the pause button at the top, you can click that eye with a line through it, and it will only have what you've checked visible. Also works for any layers that are in a folder you've applied this to as well. It's super useful.

      You can also "explode" your mesh and keep parts off to the side. If it's not too heavy you could also keep a model that's connected and you could paint on either ones if you have offset the UVs.

It is there...Funny enough I was looking for this feature for the last 2 years...but it exists there from sp version 21...And apart from a single video from adobe substance 3d, there is no one featuring this technique...That's why I am unaware of this.....

    UDIMs are in substance last 3 years I am still using 2020 version and I am working with UDIMs regularly

    I really like the new baking room they just added this month! I also like that it can leverage RT cores on Nvidia's RTX cards

    Warp projection looks like decals from Unreal, however I wish now that Unreal implement the same warping for vertices

    Great information. One little thing, you often speed up your talking at the end of sentences and it's hard to follow what you said. Maybe less coffee? :) You have our permission to slow down. We want to learn. Also, occasionally some text callouts like for the UV layout you showcased would really help. I'm not familiar with that layout and I had to guess at how it's spelled to look it up. Thank you!

    I'm rather surprised you aren't using the latest build of painter 8.3 (firstly) because the baker is night and day improved. #2, you didn't touch on how you could now use all of your layers in a folder and apply "blend modes" like you could in Photoshop to the entire stack.
