In this video we take a look at an aquarium i've been working on for around 3 months now which is a Native Marine Aquarium using items sourced from the UK oceon and other such item's I had at my disposal to attempt to replicate a natural sea bed habitat you might find in the UK waters of the British isles.

Thanks mate. Didn't quite work out to plan but it was fun while it lasted. Yeah there's not enough british biotopes, I'm hoping to do something again in the future 👍

Wich temperature are you running? Doesnt it need a chiller

Love it! Is this tank still up and running? I'm struggling to keep macroalgae thriving in my tank... They always seem to just wither away (or get eaten...)

why do you need a heater in a British native tank?

Being that there is very limited livestock avaliable for coldwater marine setups I went with hermit crabs which need the warmer conditions. I didn't feel comfortable and not sure its legal to just uplift livestock from the UK waters. I know this isn't a full representation of a UK biotope in that aspect but it's the closest I felt comfortable doing. 👍
