This video couldn't have come at a better time. Recently workload with my new job and university has really built up and I've found myself in a place of stress and overwhelm these past few days. Hyper-focusing on one task at a time is definitely the way to go but like you said easier said than done especially if you don't have a proper system going. That's really something for me to work on. The past few years I've worked farm jobs where there was a similar monotonous routine day by day. It was frustrating and boring sure, but in a sense I appreciate it now because it was far easier to just focus on a single-minded objective for the day compared to my new workplace where everything it scattered, many people coming to me with problems at once which I am struggling to balance. It's all part of the journey though and I look forward to developing a system similar to what you describe to balance it all better.
People say grass is never greener on the other side.. I think it can be, but it’s never perfectly green all of the time. That is to say, we take turns in our paths and face new challenges, but those challenges teach us who we are, what we want and how we can deal with different situations. Thanks for commenting as always!
