Absolutely true. Would have been nice had this info been readily available when I was younger. One thing I will say. The boundaries was probably what made the biggest difference to me. It's a little difficult the first few times. After three or four times it becomes much easier.
This is of course, if there's not something with a higher priority. Such as buried or undealt with traumas. There's no getting around that. Just do it. It will completely transform your thought patterns. Removing emotional thinking to true critical thinking.
Lastly.... No. Everyone is not that stupid. They just don't have half of the information about the situation. They don't notice "That's sitting 2" away from where it was, and his voice sounds odd." Lol

Looking back over my life & even now, I can see why I've made decisions & how right they were for me even though they may have appeared to be off the wall at the time. Terrible and detrimental philosophy. No shade but not a good idea
You ideas can be tested and grow organically.
Without stimulation of ideas they go stale.
Why do you think groups of smart peolle get together they do more than any of them could do individually.
Our ability to learn and analyze is flawed no matter hard we try to optimize
Without input you can test your ideas or the significance u place in them.
      Be well.

Also, 5 are Virgo’s, but both the aquarians and the Pisces are INFJs. A Taurus, cap, and Scorpio round out the team - and they want to find out their MB type. It’s nice to feel really supported by a lot of kind, empathetic, smart, funny, detail freaks. We’re all technical writers.

For this personality type making up only 2% of the population, it’s crazy how much content there is on it. Everybody’s need to be special is making them want to identify with the most rare personality type which is such an oxymoron in and of itself. The need to be special is the most generic human need there is. The more you need to be special, the further away from special you become.

    • @Bette-of7cm
      @Bette-of7cm 10 дней назад

There is much content of all personality types. In researching any particular type via search engines, algorithms will assign more of that subject to your feed.
Another consideration is that Jung himself may have been an INFJ.
INFJ's would likely be the first to deny their need to stand out as special. It goes against our nature.
As in any categorization, there is a sliding scale. For egs,. I lean close to INTJ.
Truly, to know thyself is the greatest of journeys & provides insight into more easily navigating the complexities of community.

This video is much appreciated! Thank you! Resonates for me. I’ve taken the Myers-Briggs many different times throughout my life starting in 1979. Each time I have typed as INFJ. lol - it’s kind of comforting yet I marvel that it’s always the same even tho I took it at times when I’ve felt the greatest change (growth?) in myself. I am 65 now and I just took it about a month ago again. Same type. 😮
Has anyone else here taken the test multiple times??
Also, for me at times it is very overwhelming to pick up peoples emotions and I have to recharge myself. And facing the shadows I find not an easy thing. So I love having this reference to work towards balancing my everything. Thanks again!

I pick up on a lot of crazy pain filled vibes. Thank God I understand how to handle all the bad energy. The fires, violence, stilling an much more. I was in the middle of it all. I have strong intentions an they all was working over time. You should know how to live around bad vibes by know. i mean, great topic but fucking long ass video to tell something really cool:
    Summary
Carl Jung’s unexpected advice for INFJs emphasizes embracing their unique qualities, strengths, and the importance of self-care and meaningful connections.
    Highlights
🌟 Embrace your introversion: It’s a superpower, not a weakness.
🧠 Trust your intuition: Listen to your gut feelings for insights.
💖 Balance your emotions: Set boundaries to protect your well-being.
📅 Harness your judging function: Use structure to turn ideas into reality.
🌌 Dive into the collective unconscious: Explore shared symbols and archetypes.
🎨 Find your unique voice: Express your creativity and perspective.
🌱 Practice self-care: Prioritize your needs to recharge and thrive.
    Key Insights
🌈 Embracing complexity: INFJs are often walking contradictions, and recognizing this can enhance their understanding of themselves and the world.
🌀 Active imagination: Engaging in methods like journaling or drawing helps INFJs connect with their rich inner worlds for self-discovery.
🤝 Meaningful connections: Quality relationships are crucial for INFJs, fostering personal growth and authenticity.
🔄 Trusting the process: The journey of individuation is ongoing, with each challenge offering an opportunity for personal development.
💡 Communicating insights: Learning to articulate complex thoughts effectively empowers INFJs to share their unique perspectives with others.
🌍 Idealism vs. realism: Striking a balance between high aspirations and acceptance of reality enables INFJs to pursue change sustainably.
🌟 Sensitivity as strength: INFJs should view their sensitivity as a gift, using it to foster empathy while maintaining boundaries.

      And men of old
      Must not turn cold
      Or fall upon the keep
      Their ashes there
      Upon the square
      The broom of life
      Does sweep 🌟

I'd like to clarify two misunderstandings towards the beginning of the video. First, there's a difference between social and cognitive introversion/extraversion. Social is wanting time alone/group of friends etc. Cognitive introversion/extraversion refers to your dominant predisposition to either turn inward, self-reflecting/introspecting or turn outward, reacting to an external medium. Said medium doesn't necessarily attribute to people. You can be at a party and turn inward or be home alone watching RUclips videos ie turning outward/reacting to external medium. Secondly, Asocial is the disregard for social interaction. Antisocial is the disregard for societal norms. (Personality Disorder).

Oh! Wow! Every single one resonated with me. At various times in my life I thought I must be Bipolar, ADHD, Hypersensitive, or on the spectrum because as a child every time I mis-guessed what someone expected of me I was told I was contrary, moody, over sensitive or spoilt. I can see now that I was simply confused and bewildered because I was trying to work out how to please you, while feeling true to me; that still happens. Number 14 about living with the challenge of contradictions was my ah-ha moment today, I just need to work out how to adapt and interpret for you, while honoring me.... happy days, I have some reflecting to do 😊.

I AM AN INFP - why did the "P" get dropped? The "P" stands for perception, a person who perceives rather than the "J" which denotes a "judger", someone who judges. I would think that INFP - perceivers reach conclusions by PERCEIVING not JUDGING. Most INF people are perceivers, not judgers.

    • @barbiekat6352
      @barbiekat6352 3 месяца назад +6

🤔How many INFJs do you know? We are not very common…and many have been mistyped as well.
I actually feel your statement reveals you aren’t as knowledgeable as you may think about what makes up an INFJ… and it also appears you have bought into a dominant BUT WRONG view that there’s only one correct way of goal setting.
As an INFJ, the difference in how I “set goals” is not in a tunnel-vision, rigid, fixed way… however THAT does NOT mean my goal isn’t “set well”! My way is to create a TRAJECTORY 🚀 towards a defined goal that I want to achieve… It’s set, but guided by my intuition along its course. That trajectory would allow for minor deviations and adjustments in velocity… for the accommodation and accumulation of new insights and useful information discovered along the way … which in turn makes the path to the final destination not only more balanced and valuable in itself… BUT also increases the sum total value of the main goal upon arrival! 🎯🤩

@@annchurchill2638 Claiming to 'attract' INFJs and know them well feels like a sweeping generalization, especially since INFJs are both rare and complex. It's common to mistake certain traits for INFJ characteristics, but the reality of understanding INFJs goes far deeper than surface interactions.
INFJs value authenticity, and our approach to goals reflects our intuitive gifts and our ability to be extremely intentional.

The intellect of the judging person, using the intuition provided by multiple life experiences will bring about the conclusion that the empathetic faculty of believing that one can feel another’s pain is a delusional state of mind. In actual fact it is impossible to feel another person’s pain. This does not mean one cannot understand and sympathize with the pain of another and try to alleviate it. That is what the sympathetic person does. By pretending to feel the pain of another one is bringing about no lessening of their pain but only in make believe increasing it for now you too are in pain.
