This is heartbreaking. I'm wondering whether i should stop walking the trail near my home alone. I live in another state, but at 68 years old this gives me the creeps. Until now, i've never given a 2nd thought to going out alone to walk --at times for miles-- and i've never felt unsafe. Motorists show such little regard for walking human life these days that i abandoned walking the sidewalks through my neighborhood a few years ago.
