      150 is actually a decent price for a plumber to drive out to your house and repair a faucet. In fact I’m surprised he offered to repair it at all. Nowadays a lot of plumbers only replace faucets.

    • @fixanythingsavemoney
      @fixanythingsavemoney  5 месяцев назад

      @everythinghomerepair1747 that's one of the reasons I started the channel. 150 isn't terrible to have someone come out but replacing an entire faucet for a leak is crazy to me. Especially when the parts to fix it are generally pretty cheap. Even if you have to buy the stem and seat it's still cheaper than replacing the entire faucet. Not to mention if you have a double vanity and can't find a matching faucet anymore. Thanks for watching and for the comment! Hope you have a great night!

      Are you using channel locks to try and remove? If so you probably are using enough force. Try spraying some wd40 or other penetrating oils on it and let it sit an hour or two. Hopefully that helps! Let me know how you make out! Have a great weekend!
