Watching just isn’t enough . They don’t have to wait until the end surely, this is the government again using delaying tactics. Alan Bates is right, they might have to use private prosecutions in the absence any real action from police or government.

It's odd that so far not a single witness has come clean and thrown their colleagues under the bus.
@@smorrisby They've had a couple of decades to practise their answers with their defense lawyers. So many of POL witnesses who were culpable in the process of helping to convict innocent people appear extremely well briefed. So far they're all keeping their heads together, but once any of them find they're personally cornered the finger pointing and deflection should start. Let's hope there's enough irrefutable pieces of evidence that can put as many as possible behind bars.

This is the biggest mis-carriage of justice that I have seen in my long life thus far ! The people at the top of the shop here were well aware of the underlying problems with the program in the system - yet they chose to stay silent, and as a result, a lot of lives and families were destroyed to the point of loss of life through despair. The people who allowed this to happen are culpable in the extreme, and from what we are seeing now, the only thing that seems to occupy their mind is saving their own butts ? Just look at this woman's body language !! - she is seething with self preservation, and I haven't seen any compassion for the victims that is worth talking about. If the police and the judiciary of this country do not prosecute and punish the people involved to a degree that fits their crime, then THEY should be the next ones in Court ?

The very sad thing about the Post Office inquiry is that its so easy to recognise the characteristics of Post Office witness in the work place.
Public sector workers get bonuses and honours.......regardless of performance or competency in the job.That's the first lesson learned from the PO Horizon scandal,but then we already knew this was the case with the public sector anyway.But it's always good to hear the truth about these matters in a public forum from the undeserving beneficiaries of such munificence from the hard working tax payer who funds it all.
Absolutely disgusting what happened to those people, however would it be any different in any of these large corporate businesses if they also had the power to investigate and prosecute their own employees.

Taking her responses at face value, she’s either lying (in which case she’s pure evil) or telling the truth (in which case she’s utterly and completely incompetent as a very high earning + bonuses executive).

The Management of the Post Office knew that because of modern technology (Emails, Facetime and the like) the business was shrinking. They all had a siege mentality. They would do absolutely anything to save their own necks. Of course the knew the Horizon system was the problem, and sadly the knew that their actions where destroying lives and reputations, but the ploughed on relentlessly.

This lot of thugs are horrible ..how this woman and others just refuse to take any responsibility for all this and apart from one chap seems oblivious to the errors of this system failures .. to address the failures and just let innocent people swing .. when she was warned about self incriminating evidence by the chair we see how close this enquiry has got these thugs .. stuck up and snotty nosed people in positions beyond their capabilities that refused to see blatant wrong doings . I think the main question is who authorised Horizon remote access, who in previous government had knowledge of this part of the program, remote access would have been debated at some point within the PO and possibly government due to the legal impact, let's not forget the PO has used Horizon to extort money from thousands of subpostmasters.

Even though she and other senior management knew there were issues with the computer software, they continued with legal action against their Post Masters.
Jail is a good place for all of the senior management at the Post Office at the time.

She should be jailed for Perjury as she knew about the Fujitsu Horizon IT problems and knew that Fujitsu could remotely access sub postmaster / mistress accounts and continued to lie in the British Courts. She is as guilty of Fraud and Deception as Fujitsu are. Her Bonuses should also be seized together with all the remaining Bonuses paid to top Post Office executives for the manipulation fraud and deception through the Fujitsu Horizon IT scandal and returned in compensation to all the victim sub postmaster / mistresses caught up in this scandal.
