I think she’s completely right to call out this behaviour, if the BBC had dealt with it at the time, I don’t think she would have gone this far. If they had the balls to reprimand him, hire someone to invigilate him, taken away privileges or simply gone, really mate that’s how you treat women, that’s low. Cut it at the root, stamp out bad behaviour asap, because people always test how far they can go with it. It’s just a boys club, boys not wanting to tell other boys off. But Giovanni is like many other men, who sadly only would listen and respect a man’s opinion, that’s why he’s not learnt anything, because a woman is having to call out his behaviour and men aren’t back her. Some comments on here are disgusting. She was there to learn and she was screamed at, belittled and made to feel extremely uncomfortable at times. He was completely inappropriate, hence the BBC upholding some of the allegations. HE ruined his career, not her, by acting in a way that left someone feeling bullied and harassed, but people think it's okay because they've seen him on tv for years and think they know him. He's acted like a narcissist and probably is one and there isn't an excuse for the type of behaviour that distresses another, dressed up as passion and commitment. She's uncomfortable talking about it because she lived through it and if she's lying, past contestants are and the BBC are also by accepting her complaints ... Yeah right. I do believe her. The BBC upheld enough of her complaints to shed light on seriousness if what he put her through. He wront except responsibilty and is angry that his behaviours are now out and is blaming her for his own wrongs. Thats more injustuce on top of what he has already done.
