    I have the pvs 30. I also have a ir range finder. When you mentioned squiggle lines was that visible laser or ir laser?

    I don't know if it will effect a PVS-14 over prolonged time, but even with the Aimpoint turned off it still produces a very dim dot... I've noticed this on an M2 series and M3 series as well...

    Can you still burn a pin-hole in your tube even on the night settings with the T1/T2?

    I have a refurb KAC PVS-30 and love it. However I am considering swapping it out for a PVS24LR (m2124) for the weight savings. Biggest decision is whether I want to drop from 50BMG recoil rating (PVS30) to 308 recoil rating (24LR)

      How much did a refurbed pvs-30 run you?

    What about night vision modes in red dots? Do these modes mitigate damage to the pvs14.

    The info I am looking for, for the AN/PVs4 is, what kinda range does it have? Can I sight it in at 100 yards (Or do I need Meters?) and can I make hits out to 600 yards? Yes, I am going to have a dedicated gun just for this sight. I am thinking the AR10 and using the M14 recticle that is designed for this scope. The handbook I have says to sight it in at 25 meters 1 1/2" high... or something like that. The book also says something about the range being 300-800?

    What if the EO use IR recticle mode. Will the PVS14 be okay ?

    At about 12:20 into the video, reference is made to the pvs-14 being mounted to a carbine setup. I'm concerned about
    potential recoil damage to the pvs-14, and ways to mitigate potential recoil damage. Is there more risk of damage if mounted to a 5.56 pistol length gas system? Is using a rifle length gas system, 18" barrel, going to reduce the risk of recoil damage? Does the use of a silencer help to reduce potential recoil damage?

      Eric Day no it is recoil rated to 5.56

    Does the flash from a muzzle brake hurt the NV optic forward of the day scope??

    Damn, now I want to go on a four day hunting recce. Probably sounds great until reality hits, but damn does it SOUND nice.
    Also what's a light purge?

    • @TNVCINC
      @TNVCINC  5 лет назад +1

      Its a way to try and clear up micro channel plate over saturation. a light purge can fix this, but its not 100% we go into detail about the process in our training classes

    Pvs4's have viewed more bad guys in the field than most of the optics you sell

    • @TNVCINC
      @TNVCINC  5 лет назад +6

      I'd argue the PVS-14 has viewed more bad guys than any system around.
