Have had mine a week now. The more I handle it the more I love it. The sculpt is excellent and the damaged shield details look realistic.

It’s interesting what you said about the face sculpts, “you wouldn’t look like you at certain angles”, it’s so true. I remember reading somewhere that if you passed yourself in the street you likely wouldn’t recognise yourself because you’re so used to seeing yourself in mirror image. Don’t know how true it is, but it’s interesting.
Pretty happy with this fella! Loving how much they've been loading these MCU releases with accessories. Really hoping they stick the landing on Iron Man now.

Sike! This figure is awesome, I had the exact same initial reaction to him in terms of shoulders and ribcage. After a little bit of heat I was able to get the ribs down, and man this dude is damn near perfect now
There have been a bunch of people who’ve made video on how to fix the shoulders, torso gap, and ankles.

well, i have the SHF with manipple head and shield sets. it's still on my main shelf for the Endgame trio. this is too tall, but this will be on my desk with mafex trio. i have the iron man on back order, but not missed the Thor. will have to get that after it releases.

Damn this figure is probably the best MCU CAP period, imo I wish his suit had that touch of white on the biceps like in AGE of Ultron, with the scales that suit is the closest to comic accurate, if I end up getting him I think may mod the suit a bit lol
It's funny how the best 1/12 "final battle" versions of the main 3 (IMO) to display together are covered in the three main brands--ML Thor, Mafex Cap, and Figuarts Iron Man.
Bang for one's buck, ML Worthy Cap is still the best final battle for me. It's the one head sculpt with helmet that was the closest to resemble Chris Evans.

I just ordered this guy. He looks great for my definitive MCU Cap. I like the colors and looks of him. That shield to back contraption is ridiculous though lol. I will probably pose with broken shield anyhow. They did pretty good job on the Chris Evans likeness finally so I'm good. Had to see your review on this as you are THE Cap guy.

Are the heads sculpts able to fit between mafex and shfiguarts one?
The unmasked head sculpt reminds me of a Christian Bale/Chris Evans hybrid.

The right arm on mine falls off at the slightest touch and it looks like the sculpt is deformed which may be the main reason why, it’s solid on everything else though, trying to have it replaced, good review!
Mine arm snapped off at the bicep swivel, straight out the box.

To me the best Captain America (Chris Evans) headsculpt is the SHF Cap vs Cap edition by far... I would love to see Mafex made an 2012 Avengers Cap 👌

I like this figure for the accessories more than anything else. But I'm also happy with the ML Worthy Cap. So I didn't go for this. I am, however, looking forward to the Mafex Infinity War Doctor Strange. That multi arm accessory looks killer.

Great review, Wade , but the fig is not. The unmasked head sculpt is soft and looks like he went a couple of rounds vs Tyson. Te rib cage, the ridiculous stand for the mjolnir and the back contraption for the shield. C'mon- ppl waited for years for this fig. I'm more than happy with my ML worthy cap and glad I've cancelled this one. Kudos for the shout out to Diamond Select for the spinning mjolnir accessory.
