Agreed. I'm not a fan of the headsculpt of the upcoming Endgame Cap and the colors are off. Think it'd be easier to kitbash this one

I’d love to get an Age Of Ultron Cap. That one had my favorite color scheme, with the white bicep sleeves like a real-life modern version of the classic comics Cap. Plus I did like their take on the magnetic strapless shield.

I think they almost nailed a perfect face, but mafex eyes always look weird with mcu characters.
In most cases I think that's true but they nailed it here imo.
This figure wasn't even on my radar before you got it. This review is really making me want it though. I've never gotten a movie Steve Rogers mainly due to the Chris Evans likenesses.
This thing is a beast bro. If you can forgive some or the shortcomings, its a really REALLY dope figure.
I wasn't planning on getting this version, but I'm tempted after seeing a few reviews... man, as Hasbro steps it up, SHF gets a bit more expensive and is hit or miss, MAFEX is making the best of Legends and SHF.. Depending on my money in a few weeks, this is has me wondering if it's worth candeling MAFEX John Wick 2 or Robocop and use the credit for this instead.

I luckily snagged one from BBTS so should be here soonish. This design for Cap is one of my favorites. I love off the grid rebel Cap. This looks like one of Mafex best. Also Endgame Cap just got delayed till October lol. Goof stuff Wade!

sculpt and detail wise, mafex kills it, they even nail the likeness, but i think the proportions is a bit off, his shoulder is a bit too wide, even wider than thor's. the marvel legends worthy cap has the best propotions, and he scales well
I want a Mafex Alex Ross Immortal Hulk with the thick brow and flat head . And he must be able to get that ground pound pose .

I have 3 mcu SHF’s & would buy IW Cap, IW BP, IW Thor & their DC figs. But in IW Cap’s shoulder pads don’t look like that in the movie and that’s my only complaint other than the shoulders flaring out

I like this figure alot, he moves great on a scale i'll give it a 8/10 will i get it, NO but only because I stopped collecting MCU characters a long time ago...but great review 👊🏾

My preference is using this head on the SHF body just to have Cap smaller than Thor

I like that Mafex is doing the Figma tree for storing the hands . This head looks better than the custom IW Steve heads out there which was surprising 👍. I think instead of making the shoulder straps so thick..maybe they needed to use rubber for the straps instead of shard plastic..that way we can get the arms to stay more flush on his body . Still a great looking MCU Mafex …just not my favorite look for Cap 👏

What they should have done with the foot is have that boot overlay be connected to the foot and be seperate from the ankle. Therefor keeping the accurate look and having the range of motion.
