I’m glad you got your hands on this. When it comes to reviewing articulation, you know how to use it best! Lots of reviewers don’t know how to utilize that ankle pivot like you did. They even went as far as modding the ankles lol
That is one of the best Chris Evens head sculpts I have seen. Doesn't look as generic as others.

Initially was mixed on the head sculpts, but in person they look MUCH BETTER.

Can't wait to get mine. I hate that the edge of shield is grey, though--the Figuarts shields are red on the edges, so why couldn't Mafex have done the same?
Looks nice but am gonna stick with SHF with Nota accessories. If you require a stand for the spinning hammer accessory that's not a good joint design.

Mine is coming in a few days. BBTS finally got theirs in stock. LOL. That was my last BBTS Mafex preorder. I use a different place now. Nah I still have them on both. LOL.

They should have made the spinner Mjolnir with a lot more lightweight plastic so he can hold it properly and not stress the peg on the wrist.
Personally, this feels like something that is bought for the accessories. Would be cool to compare the spinning hammers to the shf one that came with Thor from Avengers 1

I like the figuarts more. Yeah, the head sculpt is better on the Mafex but overall the figuarts fits better with my other figures.
It’s a good looking figure but both of the arms on mine just fall off at the bicep swivel with the slightest touch, super bummed but I’m gonna try and fix it somehow, great review

paint chips on any weapon or shield kinda adds to realism I feel 🤣

I believe MAFEX perfected Captain America. Either Infinity War or Endgame.
Hey D-Amazing Don't feel too bad about minor blemishes with Cap's shield. Cap's Shield is never in perfect condition. From throwing the shield and bouncing around and sliding on and off his arm there will be minor scratches and cosmetic damage even with the metals it's made of. He took longer to show up so Cap had to make an Avenger's stop. I was told something similar and it changed my view. It is worth noting but maybe find some peace in it lol
Exactly what I was telling people about that hammer effect. Makes no sense why nobody is making it like the Figuarts battle of New York Thor. Just so big and clunky
wow got yours out alot faster than mine (Hot Toys) which has still been in the box ever since receiving it from AlterEgoComics.
I also agree on the rendition of suit points. I'm not a Captain America fan really and as such don't really have any of his comics, heard the All New All Different Cap arc was an interesting read, you know being a Hydra agent the entire time so might have to pick that up. but yes I liked this rendition as well since I've seen it many times in sample panels, I remember one of his comics I wanted to pick up the most was the one where he got back from being off world for a very long time or something and it was tough battle he shockingly survived from, while he was on an operating table with Stark and Banner trying to close him back up successfully, keeping him alive as he had hole through his chest, flashbacks of his youth were going on in his mind which felt very powerful made me almost buy it.

I would like have this, but this has too many QC issues. Maybe I will buy this used knowing its not broken. Love my s.h with Nota heads. Thor hammer and the sinning thing.
I mean if its breaks or has anything wrong you could return or get replacements parts from the site you got it from
