  • A gentle Breathe and Flow yoga routine for better sleep - yoga for sleep. After a long day of sitting at your desk or driving it feels nice to loosen up a bit and stretch before you go lay in bed. Yoga and stretching can also help to calm you down and improve your sleep. This yoga class is for you to follow along. No props or anything required, just 15 minutes out of your day. This is a great yoga class for beginners, when you don't have much time, after a workout, to calm down or as the main intention was before bed for better sleep.

    I don't know if you guys check comments on old videos. But I wanted to let you know this video has been my almost nightly companion for the last four years. Flo your calming voice and this gentle routine have created the perfect atmosphere for winding down and is an essential component of my night routine.     This is absolutely my favorite bedtime routine. I’m not always as successful at, or I should say consistent enough with my exercise, but this seems to really help me sleep.

    It's been one year (or probably more with youtube accuracy) since I found this and left a comment about how I was sweating doing this for the first weeks. Well, I'm still doing this almost every night, especially after a workout day, and I still often feel very tight on one quad and at least one glute when doing these. I also get a relief on lower back attachments during the twist at the end, and I still can't get even close to straightening out either leg in happy baby. This has definitely improved how I feel in the body.
    The quad stretch at the beginning is perhaps the best chest stretch I've found, combined with the sphinx. The sitting with feet together and hunching over lets me feel the growing and balancing out of the lower back muscles, and the stretches done laying on the back let me feel the growing and balancing out the rest of the big back muscles. My hip is still tilted in multiple wrong ways, my other side is still smaller and weaker and my one shoulder is still looser and the other is too tight, my other foot is still in the wrong angle, but it's all improving. Progressing with this soothign friendly voice. Perfect night routine before bed.

    Thank you so much for this Video!!❤️❤️❤️ I did this routine for 3 months then stopped for a month because i struggled with a heart surgery... today was my first time doing it after all this, and even if I know the routine very well, I’ve always let your video play.. so today I did it again after a long time and the part in the end, when you say: „Give yourself a hug“ released something in me and I started crying... I feel so much more free now after all this stress is gone.. i really can’t thank you enough for this one! You are really making a great job and I’m so happy that I came back to you today ❤️❤️ sorry for my grammar, much love from Germany❤️

      @@Carlie_flower Hey, thank you so much for asking! Yeah it is much better now, 6 months ago i started going to the gym 4 times a week and my
      cardiac arrhythmia gets better and shows up very rarely. everything works just fine I guess 😬 Didn’t watch this video for 3 months now, thanks for the little reminder to come back to it ☺️ I’m looking forward to do this routine before bed today 🥰

    Sciatica since 2018 March it's march now and I'm slowly getting better using KT tape cold baths/ showers using massage gun and icing when sleeping and using a pillow or something to put between knees for posture to make it all count. These vids and others I have put together are helpful thanks. Breathe and flow

    That was great. I can't sleep because of stress. The video I watched before this (I usually do Yoga with Adriene before bed, but I wanted to do something new) had the instructor going on a sudden rant about teenagers being entitled (for expecting to have something that's... a legal right... okay dude) after having said that when you "appreciate what you have you can't be sad or angry". The dude was YELLING angrily about teenagers! 8o Needless to say it didn't help with my stress. Your intonation though is so soothing and you sound so caring and loving, thanks a lot for this video.
