What I did that helped a ton was take the 3 bolts off the shifter cable to get that extra wiggle room
I started my wife's 2008 today and got the boostet out and back in along with the master cylinder before the heat got to me. I'd watched another guys video and it went pretty smoothly, considering.
I did this job yesterday. The first thing I did was put a temporary hood support on the passenger side of the hood, so I didn't have the factory installed support rod in my way.
