    I just wanted to say thank you for this video. your pull it up then wiggle it our method worked so flawlessly on my edge. the hardest part for me was puting the booster back in and aligning it lol I don't know why that was so painful lol. anyhow thank you a million for making this video 👊🙌

      Painful because you tried to skip steps and not remove the intake. Made your job harder following this video

    Saved me some time.
    Thanks.
    Much better than the idiots removing the master cylinder, wipers, cowl and intake manifold.
    Removing gear linkage and its bracket I found to be helpful.

    • @imlboogie
      @imlboogie 5 месяцев назад

      Not removing the intake makes it harder. Work smart not hard. You removed the shift linkage but to lazy to remove a manifold? 😅 laughs at the people who didn’t mark the linkage like this guy didn’t and now your transmission range switch isn’t synced 😂

      @@robertcook9441 you don’t have to lie to kick. i’m sure your were stressing and fighting, this method makes you work harder because you are too lazy to remove 8 bolts. Also saw people removing the shift linkage have no start problems 😂 keep doing things WRONG as you put it 😘

    Hey when I bought my brake booster it came with the black O-ring where does it go I wonder if you can help me with that if it goes on the brake booster does go on the master cylinder

    • @vladanorve9383
      @vladanorve9383  3 года назад +3

      It goes on the master cylinder. Look at the end of the master cylinder , the part that slides into the booster and you will see the o ring. Remove that o ring and replace it with the new one. Coat it with a little bit of grease so it's easier to slide. In my case I ended up using the old o ring because the new brake booster didn't come with it. Hope this helps

      @@vladanorve9383 is it life or death case if I installed the booster and forgot installing the rubber ring?

    • @vladanorve9383
      @vladanorve9383  2 года назад +2

      @@ricardobeltran6721 if there's no o ring at all, worst case scenario is that the brake booster won't hold vacuum and you'll end up with a hard brake pedal and you're pretty much back to square one. It should be ok If the old o ring is still in place in my opinion but I'd suggest replace it if you're brake booster came with the new one .

    • @vladanorve9383
      @vladanorve9383  3 года назад +2

      You would know if you had a vacuum leak because the engine would run noticeably rough and you would have a check engine light with a lean condition code. Sorry for the late reply

    That particular brand of air filter apparently is of poor quality, from the looks of the throttle body. But hey brand "B" was $4 cheaper than brand "A". Definitely worth an engine

  • @donicarobinson24

    Don't be too proud to remove the master cylinder. You're still saving a lot of money compared to taking it in for repairs! 😂

    • @donicarobinson24
      @donicarobinson24 11 месяцев назад

      This guy makes a living out of this and taking the master out is still a lot easier than the other video where they damn near ripped the whole car apart.

  • @imlboogie
    @imlboogie 5 месяцев назад

    You could have saved a lot of time, fighting and potentially damage to other components by just taking off the intake manifold. 7 bolts and 1 nut under the throttle body. People praising an incorrect method? Yikes
