Great vid. I changed mine a few days ago before finding your tutorial. I'm now having to go back in and adjust the push rod. I was hoping you would cover a little bit of that but it's OK, I know what to do.. Really appreciate your video though😎

This was a fantastic video. But my car has this box with all the brake lines running into it in front of my booster. I am assuming this deals with ABS but I don’t really know.
Would it be basically the same process except I need to remove that? I wouldn’t have to do anything special to put that box back in right? I know the brakes will need to be bled regardless. But it seems like it should be fairly straightforward.
    I need to remove:
Battery, Fuse box, ABS box, master cylinder brake booster.
    In that order.

Do you have to bleed the system after doing this?

@ 20:57 I noticed that on my var (2001 Saturn SL2) there is no that clip ring. Do all cars have that ring on the vacuum hose to the Booster, or it depends on the model? I have code P0401 and replacing the Intake Manifold in order to clean all the passages (including EGR passage), but now think that maybe bcs that ring is not on the vacuum hose, it causes vacuum leak, which sets the code. Everything looks so much the same on Saturn as on your car, that I'll use this film if decide to replace the Brake Booster. Thank you for the great film.

Thanks for the comment. You should have a hose clamp on there to keep it tight

@@PhillipsVision Thank you for the replay. I saw another film on 2001 Saturn SL2, made by Saturn, it is fm/their DVD (actually I use it to remove the Intake Manifold), and they also don't have the clamp. They just removed the hose together w/that rubber-plastic connector, which goes into the Booster, but maybe they are missing the clamp, and it would be better to have it anyway. Sir, may I ask you, with what solvent it is better to wash the vacuum hose? I'm not sure if I find a new hose of that kind and obviously it would be some carbon there. Can I use smth like Throttle Body Cleaner, or just Isopropyl Alcohol can be used there? I'm afraid that Throttle Body Cleaner will be harmful for the hose material. Thank you kindly again. I really appreciate your concern.

@olenaerhardt7725 I would remove hose and clean inside with a brush and some type of degreaser. Let dry or blow out with compressor and reinstall. Can clean check valve same way. They generally get clogged up with carbon or oil and stop working.

What would you call the tie rod studs? A recall for my truck says there is a risk of breaking the tie rod studs because the nuts may be loose or missing. I watched your great video and looked at pictures of my booster and master cylinder and don't know what the tie rod nuts and studs would be.
