- Why is it so difficult to let go of certain objects even though you haven't used them in YEARS?!?
Why do we cling onto some things like our life depends on it?
For me it's books. I even still got textbooks back from my uni day.
It's hard to let go of things that became part of our identity
But is it truly who we are?
Are we somewhat "less" without out it or is part of "me" missing if I no longer gave that thing?

Same here, for me it’s book and CDs. Thought deeply about why. My answer was I grew up in a family where emotions were looked down on. So books and music was open to feelings and emotions so they filled the emptiness. I still have them and cherish everything I received from them. Such comfort.
beautiful! thanks for sharing 🥰
Your video reminds me of a situation of inner conflict I'm currently living: there's this book I read for my university that I've been willing to get rid of for quite some time, so I decided to sell it. Yet, I am reluctant to do so because of some strange attachment I developed for this book. It's not like I enjoy its content or am interested in it, yet it has been part of a long series of readings for a particularly intense exam session, so it has become kinda like a war trophy. That's why I am still uncertain on selling it or keeping it.
I hear you!! I can so relate to how you describe this. I feel much the same about my uni book
@@TanjaWindegger Well, I wish you good luck with your decluttering. I hope I'll succeed in mine too.
Hi! Missing your videos and hoping you are ok 💐
🌻thank you! Yes, it's been a while again... I am fine though, just have that sense that I said it all, there is nothing new to talk about it
Im not sure why you shave your hair
