I actually really agree on the valentines thing. You should do nice things to eachother when you want to, not just because you have to, on a certain day of the year.
Same with Mothers day, Fathers day, Birthdays…

Yeah, but to a degree certain days and traditions help. As horrible as it is with all the commercialization, Christmas is still a great time to get the family together to just cherish eachother. Because it's hard to plan for any old day to get a whole family together besides the birthday of the grandparents and Christmas because of people's schedules and even then those times aren't much better

Karl is Karl, no actor, just 100% unintentional comedian. Rickys a comedic genius. As is Karl, difference being Karl has no idea why he is one. I think that's why most of us love the guy.

I find it perplexing that Karl has such empathy & sympathy for bugs dying in a pool, that he goes out of his way to spend half the day saving them from a drowning death, yet he completely lacks even an iota of compassion for his girlfriend just because he "draws a blank" at the supermarket, or some sort of little presents are "expected" on holidays. How the fuck does Suzanne put up with him?!
xeokym good question but I think this may be a case of one or two instances where he was an asshole ther where there may be more instances of him being good to her rather then apathetic and we just didn’t hear about those cases but otherwise if that’s not the case then I don’t know why she would stay

I think everyone is in danger of over analysing Karl!!! he makes me laugh out loud with his view of the world, it's simple and straight forward! no malace, no intent! just a child like view, everything is black and white and im pretty sure that he takes everything as gospel! if he read the sun i think he would believe it because it is written down! rickey does go a bit far in his bating of karl sometimes but im pretty sure he is good mates with the guy/
