It's not like "wow, it's Illidan and this is what we're going to see on Outland". There's nothing relatable here to hype up the expansion. If you DON'T play the beta, like 99% of the playerbase doesn't, then the whole cinematic is "literally who".

The dwarves look identical to WoW dwarves. Honestly, it's unmistakable for WoW. The Nerubian city is also exactly like the dungeons from Wrath. This looks more like WoW than the Dragonflight cinematic.

We didn't get any info on them, why should we feel hype for them? The giant weird severed tendril thing with the Nerubian was the only thing that peaked my interest.
Xal'atath made an appearance but all she did was chuckle.
There was no direction hinting on where the story might go.
It almost felt like these were supposed to be clips that played after the Real cinematic. Like, during the Dragonflight Cinematic when they showed the clips of the evoker character. But the one for DF had that story of the stone guardian climbing the tower and it was wonderful and inspiring. This...not so much. I'm pretty surprised they let it out of the office in this state.
