Can anyone tell me how in the world we can’t have movies made this good. Even though it’s a game but it sure looks like a good movie to me. The whole game screams movie to me. If only the writers had an imagination like this, a storyline that takes us back and fourth and keeps us on our toes. Not to continue having a story over and over again of how I became a superhero and how my parents or uncle died or the planet I came from. Real action from the beginning, middle and end!!!!! I want those types of movies made, I’m sick of all of the same nonsense that’s given to us all of the time. Who knows, maybe it’s me, maybe it’s just wishful thinking on my part. Kudos to the owner(s) of this video. It’s awesome and fantastic at the same time. It’s AWESTATIC!!!!!

They're not designed that big and strong. Their power is not in the physical strength. It's the magic, the thu'um. Any race, as long as he is strong enough, can kill a dragon. But, the only one that can kill them forever is the dovahkiin. Alduin could bring them back if it's just a normal guy that killed them.
Read about Dragon War and you'll know how strong they're.

WHAT!!! This was absolutely phenomenal! I wish it was longer. So much hard work went into this i'm sure but it left me wanting more. I don't even really care for CGI, cartoons, or really anything "unreal" but this has changed my opinion on computer animation and whatever this would be defined as. Great work!

@Fort Wintergreen Agree with you on that. That is why I prefer Dark souls over skyrim. Skyrim was fun for the first few hours then got extremely stale and easy. Dark souls gives you that adrenaline rush in boss battles that skyrim can never give. Even after new game ++ some bosses are hard to kill

All of this is great but 3:17 was just amazing. The way the camera moves to split the people and reveal that city or whatever you call it. It looks so magically lit and just amazing. Give me a feeling that it really is there and there is some amazing power going on. and when that flat 5 low brass note or whatever it is hits when the city is revealed.... they really planned this out very well.

Play Elder scrolls online. You have to find a werewolf of get a player werewolf to give you the cursed Hircines bite at a sacred totem site then you will train and be welcomed to the pack. You can then lure people to the totem and give them the Bite lol.

Probably because Zenimax is extremely conservative with violence and nudity. Personally I love ESO but its always bothered me how Zenimax handles blood/violence where Bethesda has no issue showcasing brutality. Watching this made me remember Skyrim or Fallout New Vegas when id watch someone get decapitated in slow motion after a finisher, either way, I like what I saw in the trailers besides the Disney-kid-friendly levels of violence.
God can you imagine what a giant frostbite spider would look like in these trailers? Im not an arachnophobe, but sweet Christ I’d willingly let Molag Bal steamroll Tamriel if spiders popped up

Why does it seem like all MMO's pour their budget into the CGI trailers and use the leftovers for the actual game?
Because they’re trying to SELL you the game not make you enjoy it for long.
World of Warcraft was far, far, FAR different than I had imagined while watching the trailers. The cinematics make it look like it’s some 4K masterpiece with combat that will make you believe you’re really there, bathing in the blood of the fallen and feeling the heat of the battle. Turns out it’s Wizard101 for adults.

The Morrowind cinematic has to be my favorite by far. Why? Because Naryu steals the show like she always does. I'm doing the Vvardenfell questline for the second time through and she is still my favorite ESO character besides Queen Ayrenn and Razum'Dar

But graphically speaking the only way it’s competent is through modding. (Like everything else about it, mods make it better.)
Yeahh, thats not gonna happen. Probably ever. Creating new animations for every tiny movement and having them be perfectly context sensitive is too much work and essentially impossible. But im sure the next ES game will have improved animation over skyrim

With some previous hands-on game time with Elder Scrolls, I watched this and I felt interested with each character. This is true storytelling, and not yet perfected with dialogue. It has given me inspiration to see into a new world, and beautiful chances to adapt something like this.
the only thing unrealistic about this is the fact that they don't drink health potions every 10 seconds during a fight

I’d say the werewolves and super natural creatures, the giant woman big man sized, the 120 pound elf getting kneed in face by a 260 lbs armoured Viking and taking it like a champ... Even the fighting is kinda cheesy and does werewolves a horrible disservice

@@ghosthowl38 That is taking way too long already. Single open world games are the best (see Horizon Zero Dawn, Skyrim, Witcher 3 etc.). Skyrim is from 2011. They have their priorities wrong. A new Elder Scrolls in the series (so not multiplayer) should have come out in 2018 or so already.

Your entire statement just sounds ignorant. Oblivion was released in 2006, they were already working on skyrim in 2004. That's 7 years of development. We don't know when they started developing ES6 but it's right along schedule considering the new engine being built. Would you rather a "meh" addition to the series every 4 years or would you rather just have patience like everyone else and get a phenomenal release when it's ready? based on your comment you'd rather take the "meh" route.
@@colbythibodeau1081 Theres one thing understanding the time it takes to produce a game, BUT ITS BEEN 10 YEARS. Since skyrims release ive finished highschool, college, and im about to start a family. Im running out of time for games like these that require so much time to enjoy them properly. Bethesda will end up fucking it up i guarantee you, theyll pander hardcore to the new generation of gamers with lootboxes and battlepasses etc (examples dont take it literally) and ignore the loyal fanbase theyve worked so hard to build. just look at the travesty that was fallout 76

It wouldnt that great, because elderscrolls is lore driven, which is great for a game but bad for film, while GoT is character driven.
The books GoT are based on are actually pretty well written. Even with the same exposure, I don't think Elder Scrolls could match it (the parts actually based on books) because it doesn't have that foundation. Worldbuilding, they have. Storytelling... well, it's kinda hit and miss IMO.
