Jim Raynor gets shit on the whole time but finally gets the girl in the end. Truly brought a smile to my face when I finished the game. What a story, I wish Fenix could have saw it.
@A. Jonez In the briefing before the Mission "New Gettysburg" in SC I, Raynor shows feelings for Kerrigan when he tries talking her out of going on the mission to stop the Protoss from destroying all life on the planet below, (Tarsonis I recall, Mar Sara was already cleared), so there was something between the two when she was human. However, when she became infested by about Zerg Mission 4 to 6ish, yes, Raynor showed more hatred for her, especially later on when Kerrigan assassinated Fenix, (no one cared about General Duke lol). Ultimately, I agree the love story in SC II is a bit overplayed and I miss the Kerrigan from Brood War, who was a brutal bitch that declared herself "queen bitch of the universe" before the final mission of SC I Brood War, The Omega.
@A. Jonez Yes. So main point of "revenge" to Mengsk, is not sending men to suicide mission, catching 1 woman in centre of zerg swarm. So do it like rational person, lost whole group to 1 person is pointless and cruel.
This game will always be my favourite in my list, along with Red Alert and Warcraft. Thank you for the great game, Blizzard. Well, let's see if MS is going to relive this franchise back. If they ever do, of course.

the word MASTERPIECE is just too little to describe the starcraft saga. This story.. how it started with SC1 .. and evolved to Broodwar and SC2... its UN-F-ing-REAL. IMO is one of the best games and stories ever created in the gaming world. I have around 40-50 years of life left ... and i hope to see this in the big screens as a trilogy. Starcraft is not just a game, at least no in the term of how games are made today. The story.. the gameplay.. the cinematics.. the thrill of advancing in campaign... is just so BIG deal. Thank you blizzard for giving me an amazing childhood that follows me 25 years later. To anyone out there... and especialy to young people... do yourself a favor and buy this game.. True. Warfield's lines were amazing in this scene. It had so much impact esp "What if Raynor could see you right now?" It is among the best scenes in the series.
They would ruin it like everything else they tried to "make better" than the original. Look at Star Wars, Cowboy Bebop, Halo, or any other adaption of childhood greats. Best to leave it in our memories as the legend it is rather than be forced to live with the abomination it would become.
Just enjoy this because even though Warcraft the movie wasn't a complete dumpster fire they really didn't come close to hitting the mark, what makes you think they could do any better with StarCraft? Also remember the live action American dragon ball movie? Now that was a dumpster fire of pure ish and IMO it maybe possible to make a good live action DBZ movie I weigh more to it's never going to happen so I just enjoy the cartoon and not worry about a Hollywood dumpster fire

As far as mythic space sagas go, StarCraft is up there to rival the best. I never tire of these cinematics. If we are ever lucky enough, we will see a well made series of movies or TV.
@@jondou7720 Yeah I loved that line, so I responded with one of the lines the Zealots said when you selected them :D I believe it's spelled Auir. If you clicked on Fenix enough, he'd say: "I fear no foe, for the Khala is my strength! I fear not Death, for our strength is Eternal!"

They could make a CRAZY movie with the Starcraft Lore. They really don't show all the crazy cool unique aspects to the universe, like, Queens and Archons, Protoss homeworld like Nexuses and Pylons, abilities like Psionic Storm could look absolutely incredible if done correctly. There's so much more they could do with this if someone had the financing and passion to make it happen.
I haven’t gotten the chance to play the StarCraft games, but watching this…peeking into such a story…this took me on a ride many books, movies and games don’t come close to.
I am always smiling excessively after watching all of this again! It is beyond clear to me that there is so much story in this game that making a Full TV Series to tell the whole Saga from the beggining (BroodWar- SC2) out of this would not only be possible, but would be amazing! I can only keep writing letter/email pleading for this to be so with my fingers crossed!
I loved this game. I can remember many 24 hour gaming sessions. Too many. But it was great. It’s sad to see the companies that presented these games turn to so much dust.
@@shawnadams1460 you and the fps guy have the right idea I think - the MMO space is still dominated by Warcraft, why would blizzard step on their own toes? But, a Titan 2.0? Or it would be pretty easy to make a hero shooter in that vein - but, they'd be stepping on their own toes again with that.
The last several levels in Brood War in SC I are incredibly intense. Highly recommend, and a great storyline. SC II has all kinds of fresh additions to the tech tree and the newer style of graphics in the cinematics definitely grew on me.

Love the sad love stories between Jim and Kerrigan. Made me feel sad for both of them. I still wanna know what happened after Jim follow Kerrigan. Hoping they release Starcraft 3 soon since they give a small tease bout new life form
@A. Jonez Inaccurate. SC1 Raynor hated Queen of Blades, not Kerrigan. They were more than interested in each other in SC1. Story was well done. And it wasnt just love story, in fact, it was the minor part of the SC2.
@A. Jonez Bruh, even if it was her good friend, it was justified that she was pissed. Alarak wasnt really deep character, he was fun, because he was honest asshole.
Two assholes, carrying only about himself, used all humans around as tools. Main point to revenge Mengsk, its not sending troops to suiced mission to save Kerrigan. I really miss alternative story with Mengsk's win.
All I know is that the writers at Blizzard know how to write a screenplay. This should go to the bigscreen. This would make an awesome movie. You know we're getting "Magic the Gathering" the movie soon, right? So, Starcraft would be very welcome as well in Hollywood.
I still, after all these years, remember the first time I played the New Gettysburg scenario - the crushing realization of betrayal when Mensk abandoned Kerrigan...
@Louis I recall strategically placed bunkers, missile turrets near supply depots, and siege tanks in siege mode behind the bunkers but NO seige tanks near the Zerg base because they would often destroy a Zerg building and would cause mission failure; this was for defense, not victory. But yeah, it was a challenging map because expanding to get more resources required careful use of excess siege tanks and marines for anti aircraft, and only then could the victory fleet of Battle Cruisers could be built to defeat the Protoss with Yamato Guns.

Just remember. Put the chicken in the egg. Then smash the egg against the wall. Now rub the goo allover your body. Now smack your ass and watch it jiggle. Jiggle Jiggle Jiggle. lol.

8:25 never forget this moment. What a beautiful scene!
the score at the end sends shivers. Beautiful.
"I love you Jim, never forget it..." Kerrigan. Jim, "We are done!.." walks away... beautiful
Jim Raynor gets shit on the whole time but finally gets the girl in the end. Truly brought a smile to my face when I finished the game. What a story, I wish Fenix could have saw it.
Rip fénix the dragoon
Fenix the real unsung hero
@@drewrin He was a hero like 4 times over lol
This series is a masterpiece. Still my favourite IP of all time.
I pray Starcraft gets a proper comeback under Microsoft
End was shit....

So glad Carrigan and Jim got there happy ever after! ❤️
Oh So GREAT! I was only 14 when playing STARCRAFT. Got chills when I heard "POWER OVERLOAD!"
This game will always be my favourite in my list, along with Red Alert and Warcraft. Thank you for the great game, Blizzard. Well, let's see if MS is going to relive this franchise back. If they ever do, of course.
Warcraft 3 and the frozen throne expansion 🔥 my childhood in a nutshell lol
Now imagine Blizzard hadn't dropped GW back then
heyyy, fellow favoriteer. Those two specifically are also my favorite from childhood. Rock on
yeah not a chance, there's no money in RTS anymore
Time has changed. Pay to win games on mobile phones are now the money maker.
even if its 20 years ago I still get emotional when watching this, a true classic, imagine blizzard was able to make a quality game cinematics back then, how much more with the current technology.
I hope MS can bring back and revive Starcraft.

I don't think there can be a StarCraft III. Once Jim and Sarah have children, the Terran faction will simply be too OP.

Question is, if Sarah as a human / zerg / Xel'Naga can still reproduce with a human man aka The Jim.
Dont be an imbecile my son. They will introduce a fourth race. Now lets talk bout yo mama😮

The *zerg* faction. All the terran get their own infestors and assimilate into the hive.
the word MASTERPIECE is just too little to describe the starcraft saga. You wont regret it.
It would be so awesome to get a movie or a Series based on Starcraft
It's hard, Netflix/Hollywood is too lazy to write up new stories. They only like to rewrite anything that is good and ready to turn them to shit show, like LOTR, Witcher...
YES! This would be great. I have wanted this for years
Starship troopers is pretty close
@@hoangjoe StarCraft is based off of 40K, Starcraft and Warcraft only exist out of salvaging the assets they had already built by the time their deal with GW broke apart, so be careful when bitching about other people being too lazy to come up with something new
that scene ( 10:24 ) when the viking unit come from the skies and lands in front of a mammuthus pre firing in the floor, its just amazing.

What scene is that?
@@BostonBruinsOWN Somewhere around 25:02
True. Warfield's lines were amazing in this scene. It had so much impact esp "What if Raynor could see you right now?" It is among the best scenes in the series.
It felt as if I watched an epic movie. What a masterpiece
Absolutely love StarCraft, haven't played anything but Starcraft and GTA for the past 15 years.
*I'm glad to know that this game has not been forgotten* :)
The shot of her staring up to the sky, so reminiscient of the soldier in the intro to Brood War.
Wish they would make movies out of this someday. My fondest memories of the young age.
YES!!!!
Like we find crystals on Mars!
They would ruin it like everything else they tried to "make better" than the original. Look at Star Wars, Cowboy Bebop, Halo, or any other adaption of childhood greats. Best to leave it in our memories as the legend it is rather than be forced to live with the abomination it would become.
Meh. Worth it.

But, a Titan 2.0? A MMOFPS with a persistent world, akin to a more fantasy version of Star Citizen or the like? I would absolutely play that.

Ah Kerrigan....my favorite sacrificial pawn in history, literally left to die for no reason at all.

That map was hard as hell the first time through it! Haha
