Yes, it is a good game but not as good as SC1. This is a half single half multiplayer based game. So, some dynamics are not suit for single player lovers and yes, it is a good game but not as good as SC1..
Never played the game. Sit down and watched the whole thing and honestly i loved it. I feel like i missed lots of events between the cutscenes obviously, but it gave me an overall picture of what's happening. I'm really happy for the nice ending which is quite rare these days.

I really hope for that ending scene, that's really Sarah and they both ride off into the sunset together, and not just a figment of his imagination or a hallucination. With how much they both fought through to get back to each other, I really hope it's just a simple happy ending.
It's very much up ambigous. She became a god at the end, could be she survived and decided to go back to a physical form. Or maybe she can't, but is using her powers to make Jim hallucinate because she thinks it will make him happy. Maybe this is just one of Jim's dreams. Maybe he is dead and this is him meeting her in the afterlife.
If Metzen is the good writer I think he is, he made the scene ambiguous because litteral Kerrigan wouldn't have made sense. But that's what Kerrigan would've wanted, what Raynor would've wanted and what we wanted. So he made it happen and leaves the rationale of it all up to us.
After seeing that New Folsom cutscene again I finally realize that Horner is what Raynor used to be; before New Gettysburg. The idealistic man, fighting for a better future.
Amen to that. Might just be me, but I find Jim Raynor more relatable as time goes on (minus the alcoholism, thankfully). Idealism can only last so long in the real world, especially one as grim and unforgiving as theirs. But despite everything, you have to find a way to look after your own and keep going.

The overarching SC2 story was SHITTYAIDS. Kerrigan getting ressed, to then become fested again, to then become a god creature. Utter utter cringe garbage. Some good beats with Tychus and Warfield but ultimately too many women in the writers room.
So from what I learnt from this is that the Protoss always have the power to defeat the Zerg but because they are divided and doesn't trust each other which is the cause of their downfall until they learnt to cooperate. RIP hybrids, you might've lived your life short but it was worthwhile.

But GoT season 6-8 makes me anxious and bitter for any series that starts great but is at HIGH risk of detailing to garbage due yo either agenda infested ideas seeping in later/ hidden until popular, that Netflix etc just CANCEL the very promising series for "reasons" / being sadistic morons or/ and lack of views, funding. All of these points even! A competent SC show series is NOT safe untill all its seasons are finished with a satisfying ending and all from beginning to end have deep and interesting characters, pay big respects to lore AND canon! Then its a safe series to watch!

That's what made her a badass baddie in SC1. Her quote from when she emerged from the chrysalis on Char: "I'm one of the Zerg now, and I like what I am. You can't imagine how this feels." She was likely just "connected" to the Zerg network, genetically enhanced and left to do what she wants, probably really free for the first time in her life and able to have her way. In SC2, they made it so that the transformation in the chrysalis was an excruciating experience. But while SC1 doesn't really go into the details of it, there is no indication that it was painful. In fact, she emerges feeling awesome and there is a SC1 cinematic where she calls out to Jim during her transformation. She calls with a sweet, relaxed voice. She then mentions to Raynor that she instinctively reached out to him telepathically. I can never be sure, of course, but my take is that perhaps the transformation not only wasn't painful, but it could easily be orgasmic. The "instinct" Kerrigan mentions could be just her love for the man when she called out to him in a peak of pleasure. Plus, it makes sense - she was just betrayed and left to die. If the Zerg can manipulate bodies with such huge mutations, they can surely shut off any pain the mutations could cause and induce extreme pleasure. Why not to use it to their advantage and gain Kerrigan easily to their side by showing her a much more pleasant alternative of life?
All this details, etc... imagine this as a real movie with stars like Keanu Reeves as Raynor and all the potential this has. Im watching this at least once a year and Im about to cry at the end scenes every time.... this is the good shit.
Bit late but that’s because Starcraft was originally going to be a Warhammer game, with Terran being space marines, Zerg being Tyranids and Protoss being Aldari, but instead we got the Starcraft series we know and love

His voice (along with other, certain Protoss characters) is similar to that of the character, The Pharaoh, from "Yu-Gi-Oh". - Tal'darim Zealots, battle-hardened Protoss warriors. His voice is similar to that of one the most popular characters in "Dynasty Warriors", Lu Bu. - Izsha, one of Kerrigan's Zerg ally. Her voice is oddly familiar, but I keep forgetting who.
This should be a movie! movies have been making super suits for awhile now, just add swarms of enemies on some earth defense force kinda scenario, well or just rewrite the game story as a movie, the characters are loveable and its every sci fi buffs dream come true.

I like to think Starcraft's lore takes place after a world like Aliens but right before Warhammer 40K. Hope that makes sense.

Bit late but that’s because Starcraft was originally going to be a Warhammer game, with Terran being space marines, Zerg being Tyranids and Protoss being Aldari, but instead we got the Starcraft series we know and love

I think the problem with the game is they made it too fast. You start with way too many workers and they force you to expand so much. It was better with a slower meta

So many years before, and yet such a MasterPiece, Blizzard, please go back to the old times, when games were made to the fans and not only to money, i assure you, money will be a consequence... and will be higher than ever... the game had heart, soul, history, love, i saw this compilation and got so hyped, and such emotions came out... its absurd how u got in our hearts in the past!, thats something we live for.

The cinematics on starcraft have always been fantastic.
I like how some voice actors are very familiar to me in this game:
- Stetmann, Raynor's scientist geek. His voice is similar to various side characters in "Avatar: The Last Airbender".
- Brakk, a Primal Zerg in Zerus. His voice (along with other, certain Zerg characters) is similar to that of the character, Baraka, in "Mortal Kombat".
- Artanis, the Heirarch of Terazul's people and clan. His voice (along with other, certain Protoss characters) is similar to that of the character, The Pharaoh, from "Yu-Gi-Oh".
- Tal'darim Zealots, battle-hardened Protoss warriors. His voice is similar to that of one the most popular characters in "Dynasty Warriors", Lu Bu.
- Izsha, one of Kerrigan's Zerg ally. Her voice is oddly familiar, but I keep forgetting who.

This should be a movie! movies have been making super suits for awhile now, just add swarms of enemies on some earth defense force kinda scenario, well or just rewrite the game story as a movie, the characters are loveable and its every sci fi buffs dream come true.
