The thing i find hilarious is that during the united protoss survival mission, everyone upon defeat says something about how they either did their best or wished they could do more, except Alarak who basically says "Fuck this shit I'm out!"
Alarak is the best character blizz has come up with ever. Him acting like an asshole but still knowing exactly how far he can push it is brilliantly done.
I think my favourite part was with Jim at the beginning. I mean, I love the Protoss and it was cool to bring in the idea that their entire way of life has been a lie and a tool for Amon, but the "I know their stories" speech was some truly inspired writing.
I loved the character since SC1, he was a Villain to the Core, and thus a character you loved to hate, he manipulated his subordinates and his Son. Pure un adulterated evil.
One of the few things Im sad about in the Starcraft storyline for SC2, is there was no re-uniting of Fenix and Raynor. Even if only an AI conciousness of Fenix. It still would have been a hell of a side story arc add on.
What do you expect when the narrator is doing things in entirely the wrong order. In what world would you lie about Queen of Blades vs Amon at the last minute when the entire protoss narrative has her an ALLY, and make it seem like she is invading the protoss worlds. Awful video.
Fenix underwent the purifier thing long before ever meeting Raynor, they were then locked away for an unseen amount of time, real Fenix spent very little time with Raynor. This would have been extremely forced to link those 2 together, especially when the entire sector in engulfed in war, Raynor is focused on securing the human territories from Amon’s forces.
After watching this over and over, I've just realized that this SC2 trilogy, both starts in *WoL* and ends in *LotV* with similar quotes, " _Hell, it's about time._ "
Also, Starcraft II games releases follow the first Starcraft game episodes/missions (Terran > Zerg > Protoss) and the Epilogue missions follow the Brood War expansion episodes/missions (Protross > Terran > Zerg)

@Darius Bendasiuk Yes but intelligence isn't the issue its the size of the world and lore. I agree Warcraft was pretty much easy to understand by the movie but so is Starcraft and its story was already relatively direct that could easily be retold. I do suspect they would have to start from the beginning, or if a movie is too much then perhaps a tv series with cg or completely animated.
"Yes." "Weak, just as I expected." "So if you're that strong why you seek for our help in Slayn?" "...As expected of Artanis' lapdog." "As expected of Amon's not-so-loyal _attack_ dog."
Pretty sure Kerrigan found her way out of the Void without nobody noticing to take Jim and have an eternity of awesome god sex. Can't wait for Starcraft 3.
Oh Jim is definitely Xel'Naga now. After Amon's death a ton of essence was released with nowhere to go. Kerrigan could have taken it all, but what's the point of Godhood if you're alone? So she gave it to Jim, and they're gods together now. The father and mother of the stars.
Watching this as a movie really did a number on me... talk about nostalgia! I spent countless.... COUNTLESS hours/days/weeks/months in this game along with the other DLC's nice job putting this together! 😉👍
Thank you for this. I'm not a huge fan of the actual gameplay but Kerrigan's story really touched my heart and soul and I just knew I needed to see how this all ended. What an amazing character and what an incredible story arc.
THANK YOU!!! People like you are awesome! I can't afford a nice PC so I don't get to play video games but I still remember playing starcraft broodwars when I was a kid and I want to know where the story goes. I would love to play but the CGI makes it enjoyable just to watch! Again, from a poor person, thank you!
Thank you so much for putting this together. I wasn't sure if I should buy LOTV, but having seen this and being affected by it as a long time SC2 fan I have no doubts any longer. LotV has exceeded my expectations, and honors this series with a fitting conclusion. I actually cried at the end for Jim and Kerri, I am so happy. Blizzard did good. Thanks again.
Thanks for taking the time to put this all together, man. Three and a half hours was a hell of a thing to go through, but seeing how everything worked for everyone in the end really made the time pay off. Magnificent job, bud. Thanks for this.
Great story and I will miss all the characters I loved for over a decade. However, most cinematic videos were very underwhelming, imo. Even the one where Sarah transforms and has these few moments alone with Jim before she leaves to face Amon. You'd think they would make something special since we are so close to the finale, but the video was blurry, the faces were low res and her hair were terrible. It's like this was done 5-6 years ago. Oh well, I shouldn't complain. I'm just glad they didn't give her tentacles after she transformed. I loved the story even though we have to deal with the Warhammer fanboys with all the "This is like this from Warhammer 40k, and that one was also done in Warhammer 40k, etc". Whatever. The story was great and considering we only had 5 games (not counting comics and novels), the volume of lore and information that was released was great. The part I enjoyed more in all the stories was the interaction between Sarah and Jim and let's not forget Zeratul, one of my favorite characters in the last 15 years. You will all be missed. It was a good run Blizzard; let's hope you can top this in the future and not stay on games with basically no story, like Overwatch and HotS.
+cartoon80s90s At first I was disappointed in the blurry reunion, buy maybe that was an artistic choice which signified the mystery that the pair's future became. Kerrigan has been a victim, an assassin, a lover, torn apart and rebuilt into a monster, a betrayer, redeemed a martyr and finally a God. Then, after it's all over, she nonchalantly wanders into the bar to find Jim, as just Sarah. It's beautiful and considering their characters and personalities, who KNOWS where they go. No one knows, Jim just follows the blurred figure out into the light and our of our story to finally receive their reward.
+christina1986ify When faced with Amon, Kerrigan said that she is free, and it seemed perfect for me that she chose to go back to Jim since he truly deserves it. Man, this guy has gone through hell and beyond to avenge, support and protect his gal like no other in the galaxy! I thought all is lost (romantically & emotionally) for Jim after Kerrigan is transformed and they had that brief moment together in the cut scene, but I'm ultra glad that Blizzard decided to patch it up at the end via the bar scene!
+cartoon80s90s HOS is ok. Blizzard has touched almost all the genres of gaming. HOS is the DOTA Counterpart. They should make MMORPG Starcraft Universe, and down World of Warcraft.
I love how Kerrigan chooses Freedom and takes Jim with her. They must be in an other dimension now, loving each other until the end of time. How awesome. Although she was Zerg AND Xel Naga, she never lost her humanity and in the end she chose what her human parts of her mind told her to choose.
Once Amon died an enormous amount of Xel'Naga essence was unleashed. Frankly my personal headcanon is that Kerrigan shared it with Artanis and Raynor and that the three of them are the new Xel'Naga. That last little Raynor scene was him saying goodbye to his old life and going to share eternity with Kerrigan and Artanis.
@@hagamapama As far as the post-End War canon goes, Artanis is still Hierarch of the Daelaam, and we see him appear in multiple short stories and comics. Kerrigan gave Zagara a small bit of her essence to create the Adostra, a creature that is independent of the Swarm. They permanently sleep and dream, and their Xel'Naga essence stimulates the growth of new life on planets. Arty and the Daelaam, last we heard of them before the game went into no-content mode, are still figuring out how to live as a unified Protoss without the Khala. There's a short story all about how a phase-smith tried to replicate the Khala using Void energy and Purifier tech, and how it brought harm to them, and the story goes over some of the living conditions of the Khala-less Protoss. I do want to think that Kerrigan and Raynor are living in peace somewhere out in the galaxy, undisturbed and forever happy, though.
Three targeting lasers converge, then a giant beam incinerates the zergs below as a mothership descends while warp prisms fly in and warp in an entire protoss army, all the while with epic music playing in the background. Now THAT is how you start a campaign!
I just cried inside of me. Been following this game since 1997, was never good at the game but this game is part of my life. From a young high school kid to a mid age man now. I know this is a happy ending but I just don't want an end for it. I wish I could die before the story of Starcraft ends. Sarah Kerrigan, I love you. Jim...you did well. Zealots, peace out...
I appreciate this long compilation of videos as I played SC since middle school about 15 years ago. Blizzard made a great way to wrap up the story line that was provided and can only wait until I can actually be able to play HOS and Legacy of the Void. I usually like to beat them first, but curiosity got the better of me. So I went to youtube and watched all of the HOS cut scenes and Legacy of the Void. I didn't like they killed of Zeratul, but it did liberate him from the punishment of Kerrigan placed him under in the original Brood War. Kudos Blizzard, I shall buy these games at some point in the future.
The story line of the game itself is a great movie. Thanks for taking the time to edit this into one. You sir, are the real MVP. Closest to Jim Raynor.
I'm not a Starcraft 2 fan, never played the game. But watching the storyline of StarCraft 2 void, makes me want to play it so badly. Love the story line, characters and ethnics!
Dark Templar: "We must embrace the shadows. We need to endure the darkness in order maintain peace and evolve into a stronger protoss." >Sees spiders on home world Dark Templar: " *KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!* "
Thanks for the effort. Artanis shows old-school nobility and chivalry, that we seldom see nowadays. Through the first game, the evolving leadership styles from Raynor and Kerrigan to Artanis is hilarious, and in the end they unite together. Far more better video than the movies in these days.
Great work on the video. Thx for making it. I had no doubt Horner will make admiral. I bet Mira is so proud of her 'husband', hahaha. Liked the last few missions the most. Stukov finally had his revenge on Narud/Duran too. And I bet Jim likes Sara's new form as Xel'naga ;). Like some angelic firegodess or something. And of course SC2 had to end how it started... with a "Hell, it's about time" XD
This made me cry, Starcraft being part of my life ever since I could remember. 17 years. The end where Jim and Sarah reunited changed so much. Hell..... It's about damn time!
Imagine a movie but just blizzard CGI at it's best, with a 35 minute battle scene between all 3 races sometime in the third act. That would be an incredibly entertaining watch.
no no, itd be small skirmishes between 2 or 3 races in the first parts of the movie and then at the climax its all 3 races vs a greater threat, basically just all 3 campaigns combined in 1 movie
Thanks you so much. my computer couldn't handle ultra and i didn't want to experience it in anything less of that quality. You have made me very happy. My life for Auir.
Thank you so much for the upload my friend. Starcraft is my very first pc game and I played it only for its story and cinematics and I was freshman when this game launch in PH and my age now 31. Cool ending. It make sense to the comming war in 2017-2022 a real war.
Warcraft 3 ending: 3 battling races (humans, orcs, night elf) join forces to defeat a demon god and a 4th race (scourge) Starcraft 2 ending: 3 battling races (terrans, zergs, protoss) join forces to defeat an alien god and a 4th race (hybrid) Oh Blizzard...

"So if you're that strong why you seek for our help in Slayn?"
"...As expected of Artanis' lapdog."
"As expected of Amon's not-so-loyal _attack_ dog."
Dude! That intro on Legacy of the Void, protecting the Pylon for the warp-in, gave me the chills :D
Thank you for this. I'm not a huge fan of the actual gameplay but Kerrigan's story really touched my heart and soul and I just knew I needed to see how this all ended. What an amazing character and what an incredible story arc.
imagine how much work was saved, but not putting mouths on the protoss !!
you mind fuckers, you actually made me laugh !
Some aliens don't require a mouth to speak to others.
10:39 that first "For Aiur" always gets me.
In the last mission, Tyranids, Space marines and Eldar fight the chaos god
+karankenZ With the emperor (?

Thanks for taking the time to put this all together, man. Three and a half hours was a hell of a thing to go through, but seeing how everything worked for everyone in the end really made the time pay off. Magnificent job, bud. Thanks for this.
I was waiting for a game, but they made a movie.
I'm not afraid to say... I shed a tear watching this.

alone we stand together
-dark templar
Thank you for the video. It looks like here ends my favourite lore of all times :(
wtf razvi no esperaba verte aqui
My favorite part is when Artanis multiclasses as both High Templar and Dark Templar
Yes, he can do a psionic storm and teleport like Zaratul.
What a noble and brave character Artanis is. Loved him !
I like how Stukov killed Narud in one blow
Jason Lee KY kinda like how Duran killed Stukov in one shot
+cartoon80s90s that's exaclty how I felt after finishing the campagin, well, but at least there is finally a closure.
+christina1986ify
When faced with Amon, Kerrigan said that she is free, and it seemed perfect for me that she chose to go back to Jim since he truly deserves it.
+Michael Chan He got worried for a moment that she might ended up looking like Ouros.
I wonder if artanis senses what jim was feeling as he was watching his girlfriend turned into a god...
Gotta love how the Narrator omits the invasion of the UED (United Earth Directorate) during the Brood War.
En Taro, Zeratul. For Aiur!

and I HATE THE TAL'DARIM!
What a great story. The story tellers from Blizzard are wizards. Had a tear in my eye in the end.
01:00:08 Rohana: "Adapting to this period is...Difficult."
If ya know what I mean >:)

Actually it's Into the Void epilogue
Mah Boi ARTANIS kicking butt and taking Names............ Also Alarik !! Just so much Win.
The story line of the game itself is a great movie. Thanks for taking the time to edit this into one. You sir, are the real MVP. Closest to Jim Raynor.
best game i ever played.....best story ever loved every second of it
Still can't believe Zeratul died :(
Fck u for spoiling
Fuck you for not knowing!!! Fuck you for reading comments before watching!!! And most of all Fuck you for Commenting!!!
I love your reply ! :D Fuck all the way !
damn straight up savage!
like a smart once's said "never read the comment section before viewing the content".
Fuck All the way
Protoss, Zerg and Terrans working together. My childhood wish came true :)
hearing Swann call Artanus "Skippy" and his reaction of just complete and total bewilderment just about killed me
I'm not a Starcraft 2 fan, never played the game. But watching the storyline of StarCraft 2 void, makes me want to play it so badly. Love the story line, characters and ethnics!
Dark Templar: "We must embrace the shadows. We need to endure the darkness in order maintain peace and evolve into a stronger protoss."
>Sees spiders on home world
Dark Templar: " *KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!* "
Just realized that Stalkers are dark templar too, that explains why they have a weird look and why they doesn't get posessed
They were dark templar seeking more power so their consciousness is transferred into the stalker shell
Damn the ninja cutting onions...
Thanks for the effort.
Artanis shows old-school nobility and chivalry, that we seldom see nowadays. Through the first game, the evolving leadership styles from Raynor and Kerrigan to Artanis is hilarious, and in the end they unite together. Far more better video than the movies in these days.
I love Patrick Seitz guy is a legendary voice actor. Arthas in Warcraft, Lucian in League of Legends, Olberic Octopath Traveler, he's done it all.
03:16:55 this is best part of the Cutscenes --- and touching.
Artanis be denying Rohana everytime she has an opinion haha
Rohana deserves no rights at all
This made me cry, Starcraft being part of my life ever since I could remember. 17 years. The end where Jim and Sarah reunited changed so much. Hell..... It's about damn time!
Thank you for editing this together. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the work you have done.
I think a better final line from Sarah would have been, "It's only flawed because you're in it."
21:22 Mr. Artanis, I don't feel so good...
Sad but LMFAO
Thanks you so much. my computer couldn't handle ultra and i didn't want to experience it in anything less of that quality. You have made me very happy. My life for Auir.
Great Cut-together , just shows all i want and nothing i don't, thumbs up

just want to say thank you for this! as a vid editor i understand how much work was put in and absolutely APPRECIATE IT.. !!
Thank you so much for the upload my friend. Starcraft is my very first pc game and I played it only for its story and cinematics and I was freshman when this game launch in PH and my age now 31. Cool ending. It make sense to the comming war in 2017-2022 a real war.
Movie class cinematics. Blizzard sure knows how to impress
Warcraft 3 ending: 3 battling races (humans, orcs, night elf) join forces to defeat a demon god and a 4th race (scourge)
Starcraft 2 ending: 3 battling races (terrans, zergs, protoss) join forces to defeat an alien god and a 4th race (hybrid)
Oh Blizzard...
Demon god? He was just a demon "general" tho.
if this is becoming a movie,it will be the best one
