The industry standard is $250,000 per minute of published animation at this level, but lets be generous and say 1 million per minute. That still puts this theoretical movie at 142 million dollars on animation. That still leaves 133 million dollars for other production expenses. It is not beyond feasibility.

At 10:10 that is by far one of the best star wars scenes every made. The realistic explosion gunshots and just the how the troopers had no sense of danger or worry of death but just heroically charging to their death and single handedly taking down sith.
I think the entire Star Wars fan-base is living on the hope that Star Wars will one day look like this. If a full length, quality trilogy was made looking like this you would have people queuing, sleeping outside the theaters, like they did in the past. But seeing the general direction that Hollywood is taking with their feature films it will never happen.

I like how the animators incorporate different fighting styles for characters instead of just opting for generic style: - Malgus is tall and bulky, so style 5 (heavy and precise strikes + fully utilizing the users's strength and stamina to deflect lightsaber blows) suits him. However, since his dueling style has no way of countering force ability such as telekinesis, he lost. - Satele was given a combination of form 4 (acrobatic movement + rapid strikes and deflects due to her superior agility and smaller statue) and form 6 (heavy use of force ability, probably taught and refined by her master)
There was more character development in this, 20 minute clip, than all the Disney StarWars Movies combined. (Excluding the Mandalorian TV series...and Rouge One)

Imagine Luke and Rey vs Snoke and Kylo Ren. Luke tells Rey she must walk a different path and leave to unite the Galaxy, and she throws a duel bladed saber to him as she leaves and we get to see Luke fighting two guys with his green saber and a double-bladed in the other hand, killing Snoke and letting Kylo kill him (instead of Han Solo) just like Obi Wan let Vader kill him while Luke left, but for Rey.
Even The Last Jedi wasn't completely crap, Rey isn't that bad first, if you think about all; e.g. she was a good stickfighter when we watch her the first time, but later the don't use a double light saber. But the last 2 movies totally ruined it all.

What's crazy is at time this was pre-rendered CGI cutscenes that probably took hours and hours to render. But nowadays this could probably run in realtime with the right tweaking and optimizations.

The fact of the matter is that if you get every Sith and Jedi and line them all up, they won't all be equally as powerful, the great ones shine and lead the battles, like Malgus, any that aren't strong will die. The Sith are more like "Even if you're not strong enough to lift a pebble, you go and you learn the ways of the Sith, and if you die, get crushed by your allies or friends, fall down along the way or fall under the foot of your betters then you'll have failed and won't matter anyway." A Sith's strength comes from their emotions, meaning pain, love and loss are all things that make Sith stronger, therefore, throw them all in the pressure cooker and let's see the strongest rise to the top and the weakest be cannon fodder for the Republic.

I love these because these are mainly about when Star Wars was Sith V.S. Jedi. The wars were filled with both and less troopers. Don't get me wrong, I love clones, stormtroopers, etc. But these fights were epic. I just wish the latest 3 Star Wars movie's weren't so bad. Now they just feel like a normal action movie with lightsabers, and was made by Disney.
This is the type of thing that will have me scream and cry over how we could have something this awesome for our movies but we don't. It actually kills me

3:09 to 3:37 contains more emotion then the last three films combined, without saying a single word. Along the same lines the lightsaber fight has only a few moves, but it feels real, and there is a consequence. Disney….George, if you hire the people that wrote this scene for your next movie, you would earn back a significant amount of the money you lost over the last three films. The fans just want a good well written story.

Having a single blade is easy to work with, as it's the single point of focus. Added with the light weight, the single saber is right to be the base. While the dual sided saber requires focus on both blades while also trying to account for the extra effort and movement needed to strike hits. As seen with the fight on Alderann fight with Satele and Malgus, Malgus was able to disarm Satele and came very close on various blade locks. The benefits of the dual saber were the multiple points of focus, and the ease of transition between attacks. But it also needs large perception for attacks, seen with the final Maul and Obi-Wan fight, as the hilt can't always be made out of a saber resistant material.

I like how the animators incorporate different fighting styles for characters instead of just opting for generic style:
- Malgus is tall and bulky, so style 5 (heavy and precise strikes + fully utilizing the users's strength and stamina to deflect lightsaber blows) suits him. However, since his dueling style has no way of countering force ability such as telekinesis, he lost.
- Satele was given a combination of form 4 (acrobatic movement + rapid strikes and deflects due to her superior agility and smaller statue) and form 6 (heavy use of force ability, probably taught and refined by her master)
When those siths arrived in the temple you got to admitnit was pure badass

Luke tells Rey she must walk a different path and leave to unite the Galaxy, and she throws a duel bladed saber to him as she leaves and we get to see Luke fighting two guys with his green saber and a double-bladed in the other hand, killing Snoke and letting Kylo kill him (instead of Han Solo) just like Obi Wan let Vader kill him while Luke left, but for Rey.

The OG Sith, as in the father in this video, Vitiate/Valkorian, was the strongest sith emperor to ever exist and he led a Sith Empire, as in an empire where the ruling class are the Sith Lords. The fact of the matter is that if you get every Sith and Jedi and line them all up, they won't all be equally as powerful, the great ones shine and lead the battles, like Malgus, any that aren't strong will die.
They're not like the Jedi, they don't go "ooof, too weak, you're better off left on the this farm."
The Sith are more like "Even if you're not strong enough to lift a pebble, you go and you learn the ways of the Sith, and if you die, get crushed by your allies or friends, fall down along the way or fall under the foot of your betters then you'll have failed and won't matter anyway." A Sith's strength comes from their emotions, meaning pain, love and loss are all things that make Sith stronger, therefore, throw them all in the pressure cooker and let's see the strongest rise to the top and the weakest be cannon fodder for the Republic.

I kinda liked the symbolism of the eternal twins how the dark colored one was always consistent with being with his brother while the lighter one who was so full of hope corrupted and in that corruption snuffed out the dark side.

I love these because these are mainly about when Star Wars was Sith V.S. Jedi. The wars were filled with both and less troopers. Don't get me wrong, I love clones, stormtroopers, etc. But these fights were epic. I just wish the latest 3 Star Wars movie's weren't so bad. Now they just feel like a normal action movie with lightsabers, and was made by Disney.

3:09 to 3:37 contains more emotion then the last three films combined, without saying a single word. Along the same lines the lightsaber fight has only a few moves, but it feels real, and there is a consequence.
Disney….George, if you hire the people that wrote this scene for your next movie, you would earn back a significant amount of the money you lost over the last three films. The fans just want a good well written story.
They should just make the last 3 movies non canon or delete everything about those movies and just make something actually good.

@@VERLINJULES Unlike conventional weapons as you know sabers don't have much weight and the blades can cut though vast majority of obects.
Having a single blade is easy to work with, as it's the single point of focus. Added with the light weight, the single saber is right to be the base.
While the dual sided saber requires focus on both blades while also trying to account for the extra effort and movement needed to strike hits. As seen with the fight on Alderann fight with Satele and Malgus, Malgus was able to disarm Satele and came very close on various blade locks.
The benefits of the dual saber were the multiple points of focus, and the ease of transition between attacks. But it also needs large perception for attacks, seen with the final Maul and Obi-Wan fight, as the hilt can't always be made out of a saber resistant material.

Her name is Satele Shan and Disney didnt choose her because they wanted to continue the Skywalker Saga, which failed for most of the fans, and this all with Satele and Malgus happend roughly 3000 years before the battle of Yavin
Apparently this came out in 2011, but the graphics on these cutscenes are better than most in recent years.
The costume designs look badass. I would love to see this as a live action film.
