I definitely need to eat more, but it's a struggle. My stomach just isn't that big. I've started eating more often in the day, and that's helped.
But when I hit the weights especially hard, I feel like my body goes into this ravenous rebuilding mode. I get headaches, wake up in the middle of the night, and must eat!
I've always liked Lee's advice on eating and wonder if other people get hit like I do with exercise-induced starvation. 😅
When I was 15 years old working at McDonald's weighing 130 pounds, I used to entertain my coworkers by eating a double cheeseburger in 3 bites behind my manager's back when he gave us crap about eating while working. I didn't stay 130 for long.
@Greyskull3000 😊Reminds me of advice John Meadows gave. I actually tried to add McDonald's once a week for awhile there. It puts me into a sugar coma, but it might be worth it for the gains! Maybe if I focus on just the sandwiches, and not the meals 🤔

I got to meet Lee a few times while I was competing in the ifbb as a woman. He told me to stop overthinking my diet and increase my carbs. I ditched my coaches diet suggestions and tried what Lee suggested. I saw results fast, and I was less miserable 😅

He said it folks, no such thing as a “dirty bulk” its made up by the fitfluencers. Overeating is just that, OVEREATING. Whether it’s chicken and rice or a burger with cheese it doesn’t matter your body can’t tell the difference between 3-4000 cals of chicken and rice or McDonald’s. Sure there’s more fat in McDonald’s foods but it doesn’t make a difference.

You are low on protein for the day and come home from work expecting to cook a whole package of chicken breasts and the wife tells you she got a baby sitter and reservation at the Italian place where you know you'll be expected to go through two bottles of wine and must eat at least two breadsticks so she doesn't have social anxiety about people thinking she is fat for eating four breadsticks. (you drink the wine and eat the bread and don't worry about it)

I am a former obese man. Started 126kg. Spent the entire year and a half getting to 85kg. I’m within striking distance of 15% fat for the first time. While on holiday I was terrified of gaining it back. Well I did. 2kg. I got back on after the trip. Every breakfast I allocated myself portion control of my favourites at the buffet and enjoyed it guilt free. Now back on my training and down to 83. Yes getting fit is important but living is also
