Hey guys, I am sorry if this video looked disrespectful towards Lee. I definitely did not have that intention as I respect Lee A LOT. I was trying to make my interview provocative in a way, wanted to get Lee a little emotional to get more truth out of the conversation. I guess it turned out not exactly how I planned. Sorry if I ruined someone's experience watching it. My bad. Alex.
Your problem is you kept cutting Lee off wile he’s in the middle of a thought. Hopefully if you ever get a legend like Lee on your podcast again that you learned something, it was hard to watch. You made the video very irritating.
To the moderator, please let Lee Priest (or any other guest), answer the question and speak before you start interrupting. Thank you Lee for the valuable insights. A true legend.
Lee Priest is the real deal. He’s straight up honest and thorough in his conversations. He has zero attitude about his achievements, including beating Coleman more than once. I also admire his willingness to impart his wisdom to those who attend his talks. I am a big fan and consider his bodybuilding perspective as great wisdom and for those who enjoy the sport. Thanks for sharing.
Lee just makes so much sense. I've been in the fitness industry for years and went down the route of fancy stuff, but as he says ultimately it's just doing the basics well that works.
Right on Lee. Unless you are going to compete your only competition is yourself. No need to look at anyone. Your only competition is yourself and who cares who's on gear or not. Just get informed before you make the leap if you wanna take something.
very rare these days to find someone who has Lee's mentality personally most of what he says, I actually say myself, and I'm 18, but from experience people are just fake these days and its rare to find real ones like Lee💪💯
I was working at the nabba universe when Lee won it a few years ago and met Lee he was exactly the way he’s just explained . He maybe a legend but as a man he was an absolute gentleman . He’s a top man
This felt like 2 pals talking and not a interview since they both talked over each other but made each other laugh throughout I get some want a professional style but this imo suited lees character more
Lee priest is absolutely right. Myself I kept everything as basic as possible The real secret is constancy day in day out Year in year out coupled with the mindset. Never used gear and owner of genuine 21 inch arms calves and even built a nearly 21 inch neck. Never done more than 2 movements per bodypart and only the past 2yrs I may throw in a 3rd movement, and still to this day 12 yrs later, can't go beyond more than 3 total sets per muscle group. In fact only 2 sets for thighs, 1x5 drop set squat 309kg down to 60kg Leg press 600kg 20 rep x 5 dropset Another example Behind back deadlift from floor shrugs 1set 220kg x 9 rep 5xdropset 40-50 whole eggs daily along with beef liver beef chicken carbs vegetables etc. And looking forward to a first cycle in the near future. That's how you exploit ones natural potential. When your accused of abusing gear and synthol then you know that your doing something right. Keep it simple.
Idea for a drinking game: down a shot every time Lee says "like I said". I thought both the interviewer and Lee were just as bad at interrupting each other to be honest, it seemed like two people who wanted to be allowed a little more time to speak before the other replied. But it was still an informative and congenial interview with solid info, so a lot of the comments are overblown imo.
Lee is a legend and still in amazing shape. The interviewer has got bit of an ego. He kind of comes across like he thinks he knows more than Lee. Come on man. Let him talk and stop acting like you know more. Once you get to Lees dizzy heights then you get to cut him off.
I would say he's about 75% right in the things he says...and that's better than most of us out in the world. Example being the fillers in cigarettes are more harmful than the nicotine itself in most cases. Why use fillers? because it's cheap. That said, vapes have their own issues. Don't overlook bodybuilders. Some of them are pretty damn smart.
I was competing in Lee’s day, definitely inspired by him and guys like Labrada. I am 1000% glad that smartphones and social media didn’t exist. It was difficult enough as it was. Someone came to the gym with me to do some photos while training and I felt like a tool. Wasn’t my thing. I wanted leg day and gtfo.
Alex I will not be watching any other interview you conduct in future, I think you should leave your ego at the door. If you listen to some of the more professional interviewers they elicit non combat more open responses. You were bordering on rude
I thought Lee kept interrupting him as he was asking the questions. He wanted to have a conversation and there is nuance to the questions. I thought Lee was the one being rude and constantly interrupting the questions and cutting Alex off… and then I see all you Lee butt boys are raging… I have the complete opposite opinion.
Bruh: can a legend speak? Glad Lee always promos cardio. I’ve found few mile jog 5/6 days a week keeps my waist thin and muscles fuller and more defined. It’s a fact not a theory. But it’s free so no one will believe me. Yes it takes energy. It’s like live music production these days no one wants to carry “heavey” speakers to the gig. They want to play a concert through an iPhone…it can’t be done. And learn your songs. Leave the f$&@king iPad at home. Heavy magnets produce good full sound for a band. Heavy iron in the gym transformers a man. But it’s all a young man’s game. After 55…yoga?
Hey Lee i got an arm workout for ya because i think your arms could use this program i figured out lol oh wait 24" arms on a 5'5" frame lol my bad forget it lol
Sure..."make a name for yourself first in competition then make some vids..." Sam has 2 million subscribers...this guy 900. Sam is the Jake Paul of bodybuilding.

Brah how annoying is it
I’m six minutes in and came for this comment 🤝

You people are very sensitive
Lee is a legend. The fact that he's such an authentic person just makes him that much more legendary in my book too.
was this guy lowkey arguing with one of the GOATs
Yes he's a Idiot
Lee speaks facts
Aye it was a struggle to watch especially at first he came off very disrespectful as if he knew better, cringe.
It's just a debate.
Unfortunately...yes
Interviewer needs to sit back more and when his guest is talking, let them talk. The reason why people tuned in is to hear Lee Priest.
Please Never tell a Legend like Lee.... Let me finish!
Yup. Such disrespect.

He was finished, that was a long pause
What is the name of the interviewer? I want to find it and complain directly. Very upsetting @@owenboyd8817
A humble man. Wish more people could have this humility!
I adore Lee's unadulterated old school approach to bodybuilding. It's easier to overcomplicate training than to simplify it like he does
100% agree 👍
Crap interviewer. No one cares what you think.
Lee Priest is the real deal. He’s straight up honest and thorough in his conversations. He has zero attitude about his achievements, including beating Coleman more than once. Needed to hear more of Lee. He needs to make his own channel.
Lee just makes so much sense. I've been in the fitness industry for years and went down the route of fancy stuff, but as he says ultimately it's just doing the basics well that works.
Before i die i will meet Lee. Hilarious, knowledgeable, and a true man's man. Such a cool ass guy

It’s Awesome how interviewers all get a different sit down each time, Lees a Legend and a Myth lol
I’ve met Lee twice and he really is a humble man. I don’t know anyone with Lee’s high profile that doesn’t think there shit don’t stink.
❤
He's an amazing person, really awesome to hear Lee's outlook on things. It's definitely motivation.
Good interview. Thanks!
I actually enjoyed listening to this. Lee came across very well, better than when he's speaking to Dave Pulumbo.
Palumbo’s channel is so obnoxious to watch. It’s like a bunch of clowns talking over each other.
Giant Killer, lee im 61 and you were my favorite to this day,and your humor and straight up truth you speak.
Great views for life as a whole. Always liked Lee Priest.
